星光酒店(Starz Hotel)

When we arrived, the girl working the desk tried to charge me again for the room although I had already paid through *******. I had to show her where the money was taken out of my checking account so that she would not double charge me and then still had to call her manager for approval for my stay. The first room that we were given was not the room that I had paid for. I had a to go back and have it changed to the proper room. As she was trying to give us the smallest room with a double bed. It was stated that there was free parking but there were only 4 spots on a very steep hill. Stated that there were toiletries provided but there was none in the room and was told that they didn't think any were available. After we went and bought soap etc. the front desk found some. Never saw a housekeeper and when we tried to get clean towels there was no one at the front desk and was locked. Also, could get no one at the front desk when we tried to check out. Several times every night something really loud and vibrating sounded like it was coming from the room next to ours interrupting our sleep. Bedding was very uncomfortable and only a sheet and very thin blanket was provided. Overall, very disappointing hotel especially for the price that I paid. I booked a week prior and price for room dropped $80 per night the day that we checked in.

We originally were assigned a room that had a problem with the Air Conditioning and the TV. The staff were very accomodating and moved us to another room (and they even helped move our stuff!) We'd stay there again.

Basic. Rather indifferent operations and check in. Mostly, the hotel’s location is an issue if you are looking for dining or food options as they do not exist. Also, I was unable to get a taxi to travel to this location to transport me to a restaurant. Room was serviceable and clean, but did not have expected minimum standards, like an insect proof mattress cover. Thankfully, there were no bed bugs.

I stayed for one night and was happy to be leaving. I initially thought it was adequate but from the noise from the bar until midnight, very spotty Wi-Fi, hard pillows, out of the way location , but the nail in the coffin was seeing yellow water from the faucet. I had to get out.

Upon check in I was charged an $100 deposit. I was shown to my room by the front desk clerk and was drawn back by the unwelcoming scent in the room. There were bugs flying around so much in fact my 7 year old daughter was swatting at them. I immediately checked out 5 minutes later, returned the key to the front desk, and went elsewhere. I’m currently waiting to be refunded.

Completed infested with bed bugs. Stayed one night after staying at another resort. Woke up with so many bites. My best friend is allergic and had a severe reaction. Room 208

Clean rooms, nice staff, road outside can be noisy but great value for clean comfy rooms and a fun bar downstairs

10/10 would book again. the receptionist was very respectful and nice
