Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown First Ward

We were in town for the weekend. When we checked in, a sweet girl named Olivia helped us and she was super friendly and helpful. On our second night, someone on our hall was playing loud music and yelling up and down the hall at 2:30 in the morning. My husband called the front desk to let them know. They said they’d send security right up and within 2 minutes we heard “Security”. We were very pleased with how things turned out. We stay there again.

The hotel was nice, and quiet, didn't hear doors slamming throughout the night like most hotels. Was told it was only 4 blocks from the convention center. Was actually like 10 blocks. Parking was a little over priced at $45. The valet never sent call links and it took 25-30 min to get our truck sometimes then they expected a tip as those links didn't seem to have any trouble getting through to my phone. Parking/valet would prob be my least favorite about the hotel. Breakfast was spot on! The staff were incredible in the breakfast area. Especially one lady I wish I had her name. My sone was getting over a chest cold and she made him a Honey Lemon Tea.

The variety of the breakfast can be improved.

The hotel is near great places to eat and the staff were friendly. Overnight parking was limited due to a residential building next door. So we paid for valet parking but none of the staff could drive a stick shift. So we had to drive our vehicle and be escorted in and out of the parking garage each time. Very inconvenient.

This hotel is spotless!! The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. From the moment we entered Tremel was amazing. During our entire stay Tremel was hospitable and made sure we had everything we need. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back for another weekend getaway.

Loved the hotel. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was nice. Only 2 negatives: 1. The valet got my name and phone wrong and so we couldn’t use the text to get our car from valet (inconvenience) 2. There was a long hair n my bed when I pulled the cover back

Nice hotel in the middle of downtown Charlotte. Could have been cleaner. For example, the carpet had debris on it. Also, the base board had fallen off a small area in the bathroom, and the shower seemed to leak UNDER the LVT tiles allowing it to leak back out at the seams. Couch and chair in the room were very uncomfortable. Overall, though, the staff was very nice and the room was roomy. Even with the few downsides, I would stay here again.
