We stayed in the expansive Main Suite and were blown away by the soaring ceilings, massive windows, and romantic 4-poster bed. Walking into the House of Mailly is like entering a refined, historic, and incredibly cozy world that you just never want to leave. What we loved: Stunning Architecture & Garden: Incredibly detailed revival of this house reveals eye candy everywhere, inside and out. The Food: Come for the house, stay for the breakfast! Laid on a crisp white tablecloth the delicious goodies look like a magazine photo. The Vibe: Exceptionally romantic with the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The owners are fantastic, kind, and make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. Perfect location, in the city but away from the hustle and bustle, impeccable cleanliness, and truly unforgettable ambiance. The House of Mailly is a reason to visit Châtellerault and we’ll definitely return!"

"We stayed here for one night en-route to Portugal. Whether we were just unlucky with the room we were allocated, I'm not sure, but compared to other B&B Hotels we have stayed in, this one was disappointing. The room was extremely cramped, with limited access to the bed on one side and the other side of the bed didn't have a bedside table. The shower head would not sit in the cradle, which made showering difficult. Our room was at the end of the building, which meant that we were disturbed by the traffic noise. On the positive side, the car park is secure and well-lit and there is a small grassy area out the back for exercising your dogs. Having said that, I would stay here again, but would hope for a different room."

"I had to paid when I had already paid online before with Trip. com dealer. Self check in system at night had technical issues with my card 💳, with printing code and number room. To be honest, staff at the morning was professional and helpful all the time and printed invoice forclaiming to the dealer. the Breakfast 🍳☕️is correct. Crispy bread and croissants"
