奧迪費洛切公園酒店(Oddfellows on the Park)

I discovered this hidden gem by accident. I had almost given up on finding a hotel that was close enough to the airport as well as to local shopping and had ac. There are only two things I have a problem with in regards to this place. Please note there is not an elevator or lift as the UK states. The other draw back is there is no way to shield the light in the bathroom area. It is hard to describe. There is a beautiful glass door to the right and left in the bath area with a sink in the middle of the space. If one has to get up to use the facilities the light being turned on glares in the face of the other one in bed. One other note is to be careful when closing the glass door. When I closed the door, my finger got closed in the door and it actually cut my finger below the cuticle. After 3 days, my finger is blue and sore. While the hotel is directly under the local airport's flight pattern, we never heard planes unless we were outside. The grounds are astounding as is the building itself. Make sure to check out the artwork throughout the place. If you like hidden staircases, watch out. The place appears to be kid friendly. There is a fabulous playground adjacent to the property. Make sure to purchase duck food for the locals. The bar, while somewhat limited in its offerings, was suitable for us. As to cost, the prices were comparable if not better than other bars/pubs we have visited.. We did not dine in the restaurant, but from what I say, the food looked amazing. The young man working reception was so very nice to help with our luggage as well as anything else we may have needed. The young ladies working in the bar were also very nice. In fact, they were so embarrassed by my asking to take their photo. They said no one had ever asked to take their photo.

Good quality hotel in stunning location within a quiet park. Heating seemed to be a problem across the whole hotel this time - and whilst the team tried to help, it did not really improve for us.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. Enjoyed our stay and would go again. Only disappointment was the breakfast, the plate and food were barely warm.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location. Staff was friendly and efficient, the hotel is nicely decorated and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a bit basic.

Hotel is lovely just under staffed. The staff that were there were very friendly and helpful especially the breakfast waiter and night porter. Rooms and decor are lovely but IMO more staff are needed as room was quite dusty/ dirty and lacked attention to detail, coffee machine mouldy. Quite a bit of waiting for service aswell.

Beautiful hotel, full of character as a very old building, the rooms and decor are to a very high standard and the service is grea too. We ate at the reataurant as it isn't really walking distance to other options but a short taxi would take you into Cheadle. The restaurant food was quite pricey, but worth every penny. More of a couples hotel but 100% recommend, and only 10 minutes from the airport. Excellent all round.

Quaint hotel within close distance to Manchester. Nice location and friendly staff. Perfect for plane spotters but the rooms are extremely well isolated. The rooms are nicely decorated (the Tower Suite is my opinion not worth the extra charge - lots of stairs and no extra view). The big setback is the cleaning (lots of small flies, spilled liquids from previous guests, etc) and the feeling that they aren’t splashing guests with extras (probably covid effect). But again, wonderful location and really friendly staff makes up for it.
