The Rooms are nice and clean. But the staff or rather the reception isnt. They LIE to you on your face and make your stay worst. They will cut your internet whenever they want and will tell you that its an issue. Bad thing about that was they said it to an IT professional, and when i caught them instead of being apologetic they will start ignoring you more. DONT VISIT IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE

Stayed at the Harrisons Hotel for two days on the 20th and 22nd of this month. The stay was quite poor. The first room they gave me was on the 5th floor. There was a terrible stink in the corridor and was extremely offensive. Once you entered the room, the bedsheets had not been changed. they were hair and stains on them and it smelled really bad. Then I asked HK to change the bed sheets. Thereafter, the phones to speak to reception doesn't work. The TV remotes had no batteries and there were no channels whatsoever except a few news and free on TV. The flush didn't work. I kept requesting for a double bed but strangely they couldn't provide me with one in two days. Reason: All Sold Out..!!! After lots of persuasion and requests, they gave me a room on the 6th floor. This floor did not stink like the 5th floor. The room was better. But still had to request batteries for the remotes, floor mats for the bathroom door. Nothing was provided. A better room than the last one, I stayed till I vacated. Coming to restaurants: The Chinese restaurant Dynasty is good. The Indian Restaurant Meenam served us stale fish. Being from hard core fish eaters, we could easily make out that the fist was stale and unhealthy. We asked the capt to check and he came back with a all good certificate from the Chef. We did not eat the fish dish but was promptly charged for the same. They gave a custard pudding costing fraction of the fish dish as free as if to show their magnanimity. The HK guys don't pick up their calls. And if they do, they are not very helpful. Harrisons used to be a great hotel at one time , but today sadly the hotel has lost its pride and sheen. The staff are not welcoming and warm. The Management is advised to look into these matters and not leave it to the junior most manager to run the place. Some senior intervention is immediately required.

I have requested a early breakfast for my family at 5 to 5.30am like toast and fruits.i have requested while booking and also while checking my family request the same thing twice in reception and they make a note and told at 5am you can pick up your breakfast at reception.
Next day my family reached reception for food The front end staff told us we were not aware of this order.

The hotel infrastructure and rooms had been quiet decent , but the ro service is not up to the mark.

Amazing Service at a great price . The General Manager Mr Christopher and other staff (Mr. Senthil were extremely friendly and accommodating. Restaurants were too good with tasty food

Had a wonderful stay at Harrisons. Special mention to the front desk/reception. They were very curteous. The room was also neat and well kept. AC worked well. Overall it was a pleasant and good experience staying at Harrisons, Chennai

The hotel is located in a nice, peaceful area but on the main street so it has good connectivity. The rooms are nice, cosy and well maintained. The cleaning staff take their jobs seriously and do a good job. The front office staff is quite helpful, and resolve issues to your satisfaction (I faced some wifi issues which were sorted out quickly) The restaurant serves really good food - traditional, non spicy, non oily saatvik food.
