Friendly, helpful and excellent service. A great location for a stop off.

Been here on a fair few occasions and was absolutely brilliant food was great and staff went above and beyond very friendly and attentive definitely would have been a 5 star review. But back before Christmas I was visiting my mom (who lives on the residential site next door) and took her for lunch in there which was great. Now here is where it went downhill we finished lunch and went to my mother's to pick up my stuff and get the car. My dog wanted his walk so I took him up to the dog walking area next to woodleigh coach house. I walked my dog picked up his mess and went to walk back to my car before leaving for the long drive back home. It was probably about 35 mins after we left the cafe after lunch. As I was walking away I could hear someone calling me so I turned back to see who it was and there was the owner (I presume) who then started shouting that I shouldn't be there as the dog walking area was only for cafe users which I was about 35 before. He said that he's is sick of people off the residential site using the dog walking area. I said I was in the cafe about half hour before but he wasn't listening. I would normally argue back (as he was quite aggressive) but decided to walk away. I have just been back to moms and she has now said the way I was treated she would no longer go to the place. Nothing wrong with food or staff they would definitely be a 5 star. But the owner needs to get of his high horse and calm down

The breakfast was very average that if you like Wetherspoons this is for you! Personally Greendale farm / Darts farm is how breakfast is done! The coffee was shocking! Very watery and milk poured straight from the carton……not how you make a mocha nor does it look like anything like the coffee on their website how it should be served! If you like to go for a great coffee go to Chagford

We stopped here for a bite to eat on the way to our accommodation. The service was super friendly, fast and the quality of food was great.

Lovely accommodation with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The breakfast is a perfect 10 out of 10! The family owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights to attend our son’s wedding which was 10 minutes away from our accommodation. Staff very friendly; put up with my husbands humour at breakfast :) Room was clean and comfortable for our stay Slightly thicker pillows on the bed would be a bonus but everything else was perfect.

We stopped here on our way to Cornwall and found it to be so good that we stopped here again on the way back. The food is excellent, reasonably priced and thoroughly honest. I wouldn’t think twice about recommending it to anyone. We will be visiting again, hopefully many times.

Live locally. Stopped for coffee and toasted tea-cake. Toasted yes cakes £4.50 EACH and they were over done. Coffee had to be drunk immediately as it wasn’t particularly warm. Staff attitude poor! Like to support local businesses but they have to deserve it!

We didn't stay overnight. We had just had a very long journey and was so looking forward to a cup of coffee with a late breakfast or early lunch. The cafe was OK, but very tired and dated looking. There wasn't a warm welcome on arrival. More like, just place your order and if you haven't got a table you will have to eat outside, along with a rather blank stare. Which I red as, if you don't like it - leave! The customers sitting down were really smiley towards us, as if to say they had just had the same treatment. What really tipped us over the edge was the state of the mens loos. Disgusting! No door on the cubicle and urinals were a disgrace. And this is by a business that is food orientated. You are charging enough for food, so not excuses please! We always leap to support local, but you need to step up your game. But then, I am sure you couldn't care less about our experience anyway! Won't be returning.
