在河邊，感覺很好。離高街走路小十分鐘的樣子，對旅遊者挺方便的。有自己的一個小停車場，停車費不高，需要和前台説一下，忘了多少了，一天幾磅吧。隔壁就是大超市，買東西很方便了。早餐也還不錯。房間挺大的，三口住展開沙發床也很舒適。

因為第二天要去chester動物園玩所以住了一個晚上，酒店就在Chester火車站對面，走幾百米到，房間非常大，風景也很好，不錯

Asked for housekeeping to be done when we left the hotel. The only thing done was new teabags were placed in the room and new towels were put in. The bed was not made, the room was not tidied, new mugs and glasses were not put in the room. Very disappointing. Called twice but reception was busy, so we settled for a room that had not been attended to properly. Disappointing.

馬場酒店附近特別寧靜，自駕遊免費泊車，絕對超值。由酒店只需步行10分鐘就可以到達中心位，可以打卡，行街，影相。chester outlet 足夠行一日，入面仲有遊樂場比小朋友放電。

輝煌的酒店和位置。早餐排隊是唯一可能有問題的事情,但我們早早到了,所以沒問題。但是可以看看這是如何在繁忙的時候設置的。喜歡整個訪問。

Excellent service from reception when we arrived to Raffael in the bar/restaurant and all the other staff were helpful and cheerful. Food was excellent, we had a full meal one night and bar snacks the following night and everything was tasty and well presented.

真是一個非常老派的酒店，公共區域不錯，大門精緻氣派，門僮和前台很nice，據説那幾天入住率很高，房間也沒什麼好選，在2樓最外面一間。還算寬敞，但房門已經嚴重變形，開關得用很大的力。床墊偏軟，但還算OK，比較大的槽點是浴室，洗臉池冷熱水龍頭是分開的兩個，非常不方便。淋浴在浴缸裏，衹有一半隔斷，洗澡時水會濺得到處都是，毛巾浴巾有點老舊了，偏薄偏硬。餐廳也很熱門，早餐含在房費裏的是歐陸早餐，如果要升級現做的英式熱餐食得收費，12磅以上。約了一頓正餐，127磅兩個人，實在不算太好吃，medium的牛排超級硬，懷疑自己點錯了，以後要是再遇到這樣的情況還是要argue一下，這次就忍了……酒店位置很好，到哪裡都方便。

飯店有點陳舊了。很多事情需要改變。不過，位置很棒。

房間很精緻，整個酒店給我感覺很獨特，處處透露着精緻，第一次check in的時候遇到一位優雅大叔，第一次吃飯的時候遇到遠超英國平均線快趕上美國拿小費的熱情，第一次收到一個木質房卡，第一次一個連鎖酒店採用的食材全部local ，環保也support local farmers，bar 也是free …唯一美中不足的是酒店沒有停車場，其他堪稱完美

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.
