The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the AC from outside the room was so freaking noisy. Like I don’t even turn on the AC myself. The staff was nice and accommodating though

Excellent hotel med superb personal. Close to the big mall Maya, 10 minutes walk there. A lot of restaurants around the hotel and also mini Big C and 7-eleven. Quiet area. Winning pool also in walking distance. If you ride bike, this is the hotel for you, with a service area with mechanic for support, also area to wash the bike. Even 2 washing machine to use for 20 baht. My stay in Chiang Mai was so good so I extend the stay here. I will definitely come back to Ching Mai and it will be this hotel I'm going to stay on then.

If you are in CM on a road cycling holiday stay here! Great set up for cyclists - secure storage area, bike wash facilities, tools, advice on routes, right side of town for the hills. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. There’s hot water, wifi, air con that works, washing machines (20THB). What more do you need?

it was ok for the price but really limited amenities. place really needs at minimum a safe. the walls are not soundproof either !!

Great set up for cyclists. Good location with 15min walk to Nimman restaurants and nightlife. Easy access for rides in any direction. Room serviced every day. Only complaint would be the noise other cyclists make when leaving for those early morning rides. Not the fault of the hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a cycling holiday. I will return.

Vanilla residence is a bicycling hotel and that's why we stay there, it's cheap but there no breakfast even the coffee machine isn't availble till 7am
