帕克平裏姆孔民宿(Pak Ping Rim Khong)

Have stayed her a few tines over he years and it has always been a an excellent experience. A family run hotel overlooking the Mekong river which has been recently extended and modernised without losing its charm or friendliness. Lucky and staff are very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are comfortable, very clean with all you need for a short stay. Good bathroom and shower with fridge and tea/coffee in the room and also available in the breakfast room. Breakfast was good with 3 set options, Thai style, Northern Thai and European. Location is good to walk along the river and about 15 mins to the market and central area. Would highly recommend this hotel for an inexpensive but comfortable stay.

Room size is good, clean and bright. We stayed at the high floor with a good view of the river. Close to the food stalls near the river.

rooms are large, new,clean; beds the same, mine, 2 nights was king size; my room had 8 lights; high grade appliances all around; breakfast is above average; from 7:30 to 10; parking in front and in back of the hotel (the place feels like a hotel, at the same time, the best of a guesthouse; 4 parking spaces in back of the hotel; gregarous helpful owner, she used to live in the usa; the new building is beautifully architected; they have everything covered and then some; location is quite good, can walk, 10 minutes to city center; mekong river is right across the street , 4 restaurants there on the river
