芝加哥摩納哥金普頓酒店(Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago)

- It was Super noisy at night time, and I didn't sleep well. The hotel locates at the cross, it was super noisy even at 1-2 am. There was a lot of engine noise from the racing cars outside of the windows. - We booked the King size Suits with lake view, however, it is at level 4, there are not many lake views, and the window is pretty high. - There is no water or any drinks in the mini bar. - We didn't set any alarm. However, the alarm in the room woke me up at 6 am!

We booked the hotel based on the fact that they had free bike hire. We enquired about them on the Friday (with a view to hire them over the weekend) and got all the information for hiring them the next day. However the next day we were told that the bikes were unavailable for the rest of our stay due to the renovations. Why weren't we told this the day before ? At least we could have changed our plans and taken them that day instead. I have emailed the hotel direct twice now with this feedback but have not had a single reply. Also the a/c was not controllable by the room control. We enquired with the reception and were told that the hotel a/c was working "very hard". Hotel décor was ok but don't understand why this hotel gets such a high rating..

There is construction going on so no lobby, no bar, no restaurant. ********** needs to do a better job of disclosing these things! I would have chosen a different hotel! The front desk staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They did not have my reserved room and my grandson had to sleep on a horrible sofa bed mattress. The staff shrugged at every turn. No coffee in the room. When I asked about it they sent up an espresso machine that didn’t work. There are hundreds of great options in Chicago. This isn’t one of them.

Posizione ottima e camera spaziosa e pulita, ma senza possibilità di fare colazione o almeno in camera la possibilità di farsi un te’ o altro.. visto la mancanza di bar e frigobar. Hall in ristrutturazione, si entrava all’hotel da porta di un ristorante senza indicazioni… Riteniamo che non sia corretto ospitare fintanto che ci sono lavori importanti in corso.

******* should inform the clients making reservations that the hotel is being remodeled and there is no lobby, concierge or restaurant. I would have stayed at another hotel. I am very frustrated with ******* and sharing clear info when we, the clients, are making hotel reservations while comparing several hotel options.

The property shouldn't be a 4 stars. This is not like the others kimpton hotels I have stayed (DC, Charlottesville). The manager should visit these hotels to learn
