Friendly staff, complimentary breakfast and close to CTA red line station.

The hostel was clean and the staff we met friendly.... Lauren and Elliot. The location was GREAT!! The bathrooms were private and the night we stayed it was very quiet and we slept really well. It was a really good place to stay for the one night we were in town.

Booked the room with 10 beds for the Cubs Friday night game against Boston. Hostel is located a half block away, no issues finding a spot on the street for our cars, room included overnight parking. Checked in, went out on the deck for a beverage. Deck was clean, and open with plenty of seating. After the game we came back, shot some pool, met others who were staying there. Made some new friends. Breakfast in the morning was nice. Would HIGHLY recommend if you're going to a Cubs game. Very convenient, I'm a season ticket holder in the bleachers, this is where we will stay instead of going home after the game! This was my first of many stays to come.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Over the course of the week they run some events, bar crawl, karaoke, comedy nights. The facilities are modern. Beds relitively comfortable for a hostel. Absolutely fantastic location, especially if you want to catch a cubs game. Full kitchen facilities, and large fridge. Also fridges located on the lower floor as well. The common room has a pool table, plenty of board games, even some guitars if that’s your thing. There is a deck on the rear of the property. There are some sun beds and plenty of seating. Also a grill available for use by guests. There is a whole foods only 2 blocks away, a pharmacy at the end of the street, and bars galore within minutes away. Highly recommend this place to stay!

We stayed here with a group of college students on a spring break tour for three nights and found it fit our needs really well. The students enjoyed the common areas. The adults enjoyed that there were single occupancy rooms for us and that the bathrooms were private/lockable. We enjoyed the opportunity to make pancakes for our group, the kitchen was clean and organized (a sign said they are bringing back breakfast service this summer which would have also been great). The desk staff was friendly and helpful when needed. It's in a good neighborhood with a 7-eleven, Target, and other restaurants and coffee shops nearby (the provided coffee wasn't bad either). The towels/linens maybe weren't the highest quality, but they were clean.

professional. friendly staff. I was booked through the front desk, extremely easy to check in and out. Extremely. The place is clean the whole time and it was quiet at night. And the residents here should take credit as well, friendly and interesting. Perfect location to metro station and, and bars restaurants.

no heat hot water constant damp draft bar music next door people in kitchen making noise employees refused to remedy any problems instead said if I didn’t like it there I could leave and they harassed me by shoving me into room I didn’t reserve and pay for and instead put me in room with homeless and drunks and basically said I’d have to upgrade if I wanted heated and quiet room then double the upgrade amount in 2 hours. They canceled my original reservation for a 10 bed heated/quiet room and wouldn’t compensate me for a livable heated room then told me I couldn’t talk to guest there about it.

Very good experience! Nothing like a hotel, first time going to a Hostel. The rooms were clean and the facility had a couple of activities through to do and meet other people. Bathrooms was a bit rough since we had to share with other guests. Overall, great experience! Local to a lot of bars and restaurants! Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Chicago as well! Elliot was a good host as well, provided us with all the amenities throughout the whole night.
