I had to request a change for my room. I was given a room on the 4th floor looking toward the garage. The a/c units were so noisy all night long even though I had earplugs. Definitely would request a room on a lower floor on the other side of the building where it is so much quieter! Breakfast included was ok. Nothing special. Liked the victorian decor and vintage photos in the halls.

Great place to stay when visiting downtown Chico and Chico State. Super convenient to walk to everything. The front desk was helpful and personable. The breakfast was fresh and made to order- with a very nice cook who gave me some great tips about the area and was accommodating to my son’s food allergies. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Chico. .

Great hotel in downtown Chico. Everything one can wish for. Bar closes at 10pm. Good breakfast paid with vouchers. Garage next door with Tesla destination chargers

Great hotel This is a favorite hotel for my husband and me to stay. Its history is interesting. The staff is friendly. Only a couple of issues. The pillows are very firm. Uncomfortable to sleep on. Also. There are few rooms with a view. Either a view of the parking structure or a rooftop

Diamond Hotel is a great property. There are not many worthwhile hotels in Chico. This was probably the nicest. Good centralized location. Great steakhouse about a block away. Several boutique-type shopping stores are just around the corner. Multiple bars and restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is quiet and clean, offering massages and a steakhouse on the premises, although we did not use either one. We will stay here next time we come through Chico.
