穆納爾香料樹旅館(SpiceTree Munnar)

Perdu dans la montagne avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée. Chambre et salle de bains très spacieuses et très belles. Calme, sérénité au bord de la piscine principale. Balade avec le guide de l’hôtel très sympathique. Dégustation de thé organisée. Personnel au top.

We drove from chennai, a long way , and the moment we arrived at the reception, we just wanted to be there. So soothing , tasteful , simple yet Gorgeous. We stayed just in to breathe the fresh cool air and to admire the flora. Took a lot of brave steps with my Shaky knees and the pool at the end of the property was just a bliss . The only pampering we permitted was the attention of the staff to every detail of our stay . Looks like we made friends there . Thanks to my friend Fen Jacob 𝓚𝓪𝓭𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓹𝓾𝔃𝓱𝓪 of Bodhi tree to recommend spice tree . Best wishes to one and all at spice.

My wife and I visited spice tree resort recently so I would like to share my experience. We were so busy with work and family for a while. We were mentally drained and was looking for a refreshment so we got an idea to stay in some remote resort where we can find peace . then we found spice tree munnar . The place which spice tree is located is just amazing i can't express it through my words you should go and visit for sure , the resort's stay helped us to disconnect from all mental stress and it helps us to refresh our mind . We stayed in honeymoon suite with jacuzzi and copper tub. The behavior from staffs is also very nice and they are very caring about the guest .

Still staying here in room 202 but had quite a uniquely bad experience. 1. There is 1 restaurant which shuts at 9.30pm with very very limited vegetarian food options which is not mentioned anywhere on the website 2. Went to the spa and got scratched by the therapist all over my leg, even though I told her that there was something poking me she continued and ultimately scratched me. The hygiene levels were questionable as there was no covering on the massage bed and I had to ask for it. The face mask was off and when I asked the therapist to use gloves for the massage or just file her nails, she did not and just kept apologizing and said try again, but I just did not want to get scratched anymore so I stopped the massage in 5 minutes and walked back to my room. 3. Complained about this experience to the resort ***ager, he came and wanted to personally see me. First thing he said was that there was no nail, which is completely unacceptable. 4. Spoke to the resort owner Melvin, he just apologized but nothing after that. 5. Told the staff to change the bedding, but they did not. I had to get it done in front of me when I got back to the room. 6. Paying Rs. 12,000 per night for the jacuzzi room is really not worth it because there are no amenities like even a bar! 7. The shower products stink! 8. After food is delivered in the room, there is nobody who comes to pick up the empty vessels. We need to keep asking for extra cutlery. It's almost like the staff is doing us a favor by cooking for us. 9. Minibar is empty! 10. No activities as advertised because there is low occupancy but nothing done for those who are actually in the hotel. 11. There is a constantly noise in the morning that comes on the roof like water dropping through a tap which we complained about but nothing was done about it. We honestly saw the reviews and had a friend recommend this boutique hotel to us, but the experience has been far from what we expected. The room is clean but the jacuzzi didn't work properly either and there is grout (black fungus type) in between the tiles in the jacuzzi. I would recommend another hotel instead, we wanted to be in the lap of nature and luxury but got conned. Save yourself and be careful.

Spice Tree Munnar - An excellent place for your vacation. Why because, they have so ***y options in their rooms. Pool villas for an exotic mountain view and pure privacy. Club Suites are meant for pure natural stay build up in woods and you have a Jacuzzi option too. They also have a common swimming pool and a good sitting area. Rooms are very neat, clean and tidy. The foremost thing to mention here is their initiative to avoid plastics. They give water in glass water bottles, soap and other things in Areca containers, even the hand towels are being used instead of tissue papers. Love the way a lot for conserving nature. About the food they have mostly North Indian and International food varieties. They have to bring more Indian foods. Because this place is located bit interrior from town so travellers have to depend on them only. They are taking all guests for a nature walk in the evening that will be very thrilling and adventurous. Overall you can stay here by binding up with the nature. I Highly recommend. Special mention all the staff are very friendly in nature. You will surely have a homely feeling because of the hospitality given to you. I should mention this on the day of our check in we have been late to the resort due to the travel time, the people in the resort have allowed us directly to the room and they told sir will do the formalities in the morning. That's a very nice gesture from the team. Thanks a lot for the awesome experience. Will surely come back again.

Well maintained property. Great food. Nice location. Superb jacuzzi.Really appreciate the warm welcome and amazing hospitality shown. Chefs need to be appreciated for the delicious dishes we had. Faced some issues with wifi. Apart from that we had a great stay.

Delightful hotel. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive, very comfortable room, very clean pool on our deck, good food, all in all an excellent experience. One word of warning however - the two pool villas, while completely fabulous, are a very long and rather steep walk from the main public areas. We were kindly driven back and forth by one of the hotel staff but, this fact should probably be made a little clearer. However, it was still a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful place and setting- surrounded by tropical plants and tea plantations. The staff were all so lovely and helpful and the food was good too. There is also a spa and I had a wonderful massage. So glad we stayed here and would highly recommend

Nestled in the mountains lies a gem. Beautiful hotel with very welcoming staff. Upon arrival we were greeted with the ***ager who suggested all the in-house & outside activities. Some were complimentary like cooking class, tea tasting, yoga etc. the breakfast was organic, fresh & extremely tasty as if made with great care. There is no AC but with cool weather didn't need. There are ***y low & high steps so be careful. Bird noises all around. I suggest putting side tables beside bed for keeping stuff. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
