Small and a bit outdated, but clean hotel in central Chisinau (not in the very heart of of the city as advertised), very friendly and always willing to help staff, good but nothing spectacular breakfast, average WiFi, there is a free parking (you have to specify it in advance when booking) or in general - very good value for its price. What I didn’t like is the fact there is no lift and it’s a challenge to climb/get down the narrow stairs with a big suitcase, the other issue is the sound isolation - you can hear your neighbours or people walking in the corridor.

Komilfo did a great job of accommodating us. A sofa bed was not functioning properly so they let us stay in a significantly larger room at no added cost. Place was clean, breakfast was more than adequate. And location was just outside of the city center. No complaints whatsoever. At least one staff member was able to speak English at any given point, even though I am able to fumble through Romanian if need be!

Отель небольшой. В маленьком дворике красивые деревья. Идеально для отдыха летом, но и весной неплохо. Сауна на дровах замечательная. Предварительно спросили какую температуру мы любим. Был травяной чай. Номер люкс отличный. Есть ванна. Близко к центру городу. Пять минут и вы возле Триумфальной арке. Можно посидеть на балконе. Особых недостатков нет, может быть только не хватает чайника в номере. Кроме того, легко бьётся посуда, потому что покрытие кафель. Интерьер достаточно приятный, в стиле лофт. Завтрак проходит в небольшом ресторанчике на первом этаже отеля. Все блюда вкусные. Были отварные овощи, сосиски, хлопья, яйца вкрутую, колбаса, сыр. Чай и кофе тоже на уровне. Администраторы создают в отеле доброжелательную атмосферу.

This hotel is a hidden gem. I really enjoyed this hotel. Breakfast was good as well. Highly recommended

What a lovely little hotel! A very, very nice stay and our host, Oleg, was incredibly helpful - truly above and beyond as he helped us with bags, made a tasty breakfast for us to enjoy before our early flight, and even gave us some homemade Moldovan wine to sample - which was absolutely delicious. Great location just down the street from some traditional Moldovan restaurants and a supermarket. Wetbar was stocked and not at all expensive. Please stay at this hotel and say hi to Oleg for me. You will be so impressed!

Nice hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast

The location of the Komilfo is really good - close to the city centre without being right in it. The staff could not have been friendlier and were really accommodating - we arrived at around 9:30am having got off the night train and had had very little sleep. They took pity on us and offered us a larger room there and then because ours was not ready at that time in the morning for which we will be eternally grateful! The bar/breakfast room was small but well stocked and there was plenty of food and hot and cold drinks for breakfast and it never felt crowded. This is a great option if you need a good value, friendly place to stay in Chisinau.

The Komilfo Hotel is my go-to hotel every time I'm in Chisinau. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very nice with cable tv, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. I look forward to my stays at the Komilfo.
