1. 抽油煙機上的蜘蛛網； 2. 廁所門上的污漬； 3. 睡房漏水後沒修有臭味； 4．保險箱放直接地上，地上還留有其他住客留下的行李條。

來的時候住這家，離開時還住這家，老闆娘很親切，告訴我們奧萊在什麼位置，周邊的大超市在哪裡，還幫我們升級住在新樓，確實比老樓設施好很多。去植物園也很近，十幾天的新西蘭之旅沒玩夠，還會再來的，還要住在這裏。

A very well located facility. Service was good and cleanliness good. Facilities are showing age and tiredness.

位置還不錯，價格也還行。就是臨街（基督城最寬的環線），太吵了，夜裡兩點都很難入睡。 另外商家反饋並沒跟攜程有合作，所以訊息有誤，不帶按摩浴缸，就是正常的汽車旅館配置。

I was meant to have a op tomorrow but it got cancelled at last minute today,tried to sort it out with Owens but just took my money,not happy at all, they were very rude on pH they hung up in my ear,I have mangered motels and you never talk to people the way they do, just want and need My money back

WARNING!!!!!! Read reviews before booking! Have just spent 2 nights here within a group and we were all absolutely disgusted with the accommodation and service we received. From leaking ceilings to dirty towels, windows that don’t shut, seal, or lock. Staff coming into rooms without knocking. And to top it off trying to keep bond for using the pull out couch within the room that we paid for and told reception we needed bedding for but still tryed to keep bond then proceeded to call me and abuse me about the matter and would not listen to a word I had to say. Very rude and aggressive staff that are by no means helpful. Would definitely not stay at this place.

Location is great, service is crap, rooms are poor, you can hear the people above you, owners are rude, beds are uncomfortable, if you want budget and terrible service this is the place for you. The accusations that comes out the females owners mouth are a disgrace, about this place like the plague

DO NOT STAY HERE!! upon our short 4 hour stay and this premises, we were verbally abused threatened, our privacy was violated as our bags had all be opened and rummaged through, along with the inhuman living facilities. We arrived at the southern comfort motel on the 03/02/2024, we had left our bags with the staff at reception as we had arrived before our check in time, when we returned to check in our luggage was returned open, we decided this may have just be an accident and decided to let it go, we got to our room which was filthy, extremely outdated and falsely advertised, we were all a bit disappointed, there was only one roll of half used toilet paper, no hand soap, the phone in the room was broken along with the tv which had no remote and buttons on the side of the tv were all broken, we decided to query this with the management staff as to whether we could change rooms, for raising this legitimate complaint we in turn we received verbally absusive language by staff, we were told to f**k off, stay somewhere else to which we were shocked and expressed we shouldn’t be spoken to like that, the manager then proceed to say we were smoking in the room and he had cctv inside the room, none of us are smokers and cctv footage inside the room is an invasion of privacy, when asked to produce proof of this so called footage the owner declined to show this. We asked the manager to calm down to which he threatened to fight us and claim we are not women women are gods and we are dirt. We felt so uncomfortable and shocked that we decided to request and refund to stay elsewhere to which to management declined and told us he was going to trespass us, at no point did we partake in any aggressive behaviour with the staff so we were incredibly shocked. Only one telling the manager police have been called did he produce a partial refund. Please do not support such a disgusting business, if you do decide to stay here I suggest not making any legitimate complaints. Lesson has now been learnt to read all reviews prior to staying as it appears similar behaviour has happened to many other customers.

Great location but the rooms seriously need updating and a decent clean.There was blood splatter on the bedroom wall, reported it to reception, first told to wipe it off then they came and did it. Bathroom disgusting as per photos. Needs serious attention

It used to be a great Motel, always stayed here when in Christchurch but won't be back, obviously new owners and or management. Payed for unit on arrival then was asked for my credit card, on asking why, "it is used as securtiy in case you take anything when you leave." Warning bells rang, thank goodness I didn't hand it over. The couch was so uncomfortable I felt the wooden framework. On removing the cover which was an old curtain I could see why it was uncomfortable and well past it's used by date, to say nothing of the filthy fabric and debris on squabs. Noise of water from upstairs unit alarming, sounded like it was running down the inside of my bedroom wall - mould, and damage indicating something was seriously wrong. Spoke to a staff member who waved arms furiously no speak English and receptionist on hearing my complaint not interested either. The reviews speak for themselves, am at a loss to understand why in some recent reviews it is rated positively. A new shower had been put in, perhaps this was the upgrading receptionist referred to . . .

How in heaven's name did this hotel wind up #95 out of 97 on TA? We were having a lot of trouble finding a place when we arrived in Christchurch and the manager was very helpful in providing accommodation at short notice. Because of the demand in the area we had to switch rooms, but that was better than going on to the next town! The first room was very large, clean, comfortable- and she gave us that room for the price of a standard room. Very much appreciated. The second room was the only one we ever had in New Zealand with two bedrooms. That was very welcome for this price range- modest cost indeed. Again, a comfortable room with all the space we needed to relax and prepare for the next day. The hotel complex was pretty quiet and the other residents were respectful. I don't think you can wrong here, and I heartily recommend it for your stay in Christchurch.
