No frills basic motel room suitable for a one night stopover on Christmas Day. Good pressure in the shower, comfy beds, quiet room. Good value for money based on what else was on offer in Christchurch at the time.
We appreciated them letting us check in early (12pm) after our original plans changed.

Room overpoweringly stunk of nutmeg/cinnamon.nowhere to fill jug except over the grubby bath shower where everyone washes off their filth..very third world for nz

Easy access with restaurant.
Maintenance issues, faulty lights, bathroom wall panels not fastened to wall, shower head needed cleaning and extractor fan needed cleaning to which made it very noisy. Trucks parked outside made huge amount of noise on start up early in the morning.

Property was ageing but reasonable, good price and great restaurant Needed minor repairs to bathroom crack in bath and needed clean shower curtain.Had no place to hang towels or cloths in bathroom. Otherwise O.K.

In general the unit was ok. BUT the there was mold around the windows and dust on top of anything it could collect on. Even the heaters were very dusty. Beds badly made. Sheets weren't even tucked in properly & blanket half way down bed almost. But kitchen shower & toilet were all clean
