卡恩莫爾哈格利公園汽車旅館(Carnmore Hagley Park)

We had a great time at Carnmore, if you’re planning to tour around CHC you can just leave your car at the hotel and take the bus to the city center for more convenience. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel. 10mins walk to Westfield mall. 15 mins walk to the Botanical Gardens. The staff are so kind and courteous. Will definitely book again!

The room was smells very stinky. We were very disappointed because the bathroom is not so clean. We bought a air freshener to make the room deodorized. We will not book here anymore.

Nice room and perfectly fit for up to 4 persons.

There was food in the fridge which had obviously not been cleaned. Also dust on the surfaces in the bathroom and stains on the back of the door, unsure what that was. The curtains were falling off the track which generally gave it a sloppy appearance. The room was also noisy. I could hear children screaming in the next room and someone snoring. Probably won’t stay here again unfortunately.

I liked the rooms, they were clean, tidy and fairly new. I didn't like their service and outside facilities. Their service was awful! We were travelling back to Christchurch late night, and the staff didn't turn heating on, even with windows open, leaving the whole place extremely cold after midnight, it was raining too, the beddings were moist! We're a family with two little kids, but we had no option but to let kids go straight to wet and freezing bed without heating, their bedroom window right next to bed was open!!! As we travelled so much and arrived late, especially in the awefully cold and wet bed we didn't sleep much, I called the staff if we could check out at 12 instead of 10am, he said no problem, just another $20. To be polite, I said it's okay, we'll leave. However, this place makes me think all they care about is money! Why couldn't they close all the windows and turn the heater on for us to arrive in nice and warm environment as we have already paid for the service?! We have stayed at a few places in Christchurch, all about the same price $150, every other place has delivered high standard service by turning the heater on before arrival, having the rooms all warmed up and dry, always having someone available at reception, open to guests' requests without asking for money first, just friendly, understanding and considerate, and this is all hospitality industry should be like. We will never ever go back to this place again!

Staff were friendly and accomodating. I was charged to my credit card even after stating pay at property. Unfortunately i didnt get a very good sleep as the outside lights are to bright the room was lit up all night. Property was clean and tidy. Bed comfortable. Cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.

This accommodation was perfect for what I needed - close to where I was working each day - friendly Receptionist when I arrived - had a couple of lights that didn't work (they never got fixed while I was there) - shower could have done with a bit of Exit Mould around the edges!! Nothing too major!!

Perfect stay. Great location with easy walk to town and Westfield. Good amenities in area if in need of a feed, a choccy bar or bottle wine 😉 Thankyou 👍
