I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of effort in cleaning and maintaining the rooms for nearly $225 per night at a Courtyard. Really dissatisfied. There were crawling ants in our room and our bathroom smelled moldy because of the shower curtain. The hotel was completely booked and we felt stuck. I shared my concerns with the staff and there was really no recourse - not even points for my account. I will be calling Marriott as I am a bonvoy member.
