華威酒店(Warwick New York)

Was given the worst room. Dark and tiny. said this is what I paid for? I had stayed here before and never had a room like this. Asked for another lamp a never got it. Towels were skimpy. Shower broken. Do not go!!

Good place

If it wasn’t for the doorman I wouldn’t reviewed at all. The doorman is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He pointed us in the right direction every time we asked. The restaurant and bar have the worst service I’ve ever experienced and the food was overpriced and ice cold. Do everyone favours (including the staff) and eat drink somewhere else! Our room had some wiring problems, lights going off and on, the alarm clock was broken.asked front desk to fix but then when I walked away I saw them making fun of me so I just politely said nevermind. After one day of returning to a cleaned room with new waters, towels, and coffee stocked we were surprised with all of it missing. Again, called and asked for more towels as we didn’t have any now. I guess with these resort fees you only get this stuff once during your stay unless you ask.

Do not be fooled. This is not a 4 start hotel any more. I booked a premier suit with two beds. With a city view. There was no view. I saw the side of the wall and the window of another room. The bed had stains on it the bathroom was very shabby with peeling paint and bugs. See picture. The furniture was dated and worn. It was quiet yes, but the elevator was very slow and the lobby was crowded. I called ahead and was told that the room would have slippers and robes. It had none of those. I was not impressed because a paid a lot for the room. Plus: front desk was very nice and doormen were great as well. There are nicer hotels you can stay in for less money.

The location is very good , so close to MOMA, Rockefeller center, Radio city , great shopping . Hotel is bit outdated , morning staff that checked me in weren’t friendly and helpful at all . I observed the evening staff at reception were more friendly and happier. House keeping and guest services are very slow . Seems like they are over staff downstairs at lobby but not enough house keeping staff to clean on timely manner so They can accommodate early check-ins

A friend and I stayed at the Warwick for a weekend, The room was generously sized for New York which was a pleasant surprise. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The bar in the lobby was a great place to relax at the end of the day. A great mix of old architecture and modern convenience. Highly recommend.
