黃蘆薈旅館(Yellow Aloe)

Estuve una noche hospedada en este hotel con encanto y la verdad es que es para venir un par de dias. La decoracion, el sonido del agua.... es un lugar para relaj**** y disfrutar de la tranquilidad. El desayuno no es buffet, pero esta muy bien, cereales, yogur, fruta, zumo, cafe, tostadas, huevos, bacon.... Sin duda un lugar para volver.

Der Garten ist der Hammer. Überall gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten . Man merkt richtig wie die ganze Gartenanlage mit viel Liebe und Phantasie zusammen gestellt wurde.Das Zimmer war bequem . Das Frühstück war sehr gut und mit viel Liebe serviert worden.

In 2018 we were for the first time at this lovely Guest House. And again we are enthusiastic. The warm welcome from Michel, the excellent rooms in the historic longhouse made us happy again. Not to forget the nice breakfast at the veranda. For us Yellow is the perfect safe place in the centre of Town on our way between self catering cottages in the Cederbergen.

The omelettes we ordered were very dry and tasteless. My friend's one even looked like a pancake. The filling needed salt and spices. i ordered olive oil I for my toast but it smelled musky. The marmelade was good but the strawberry jam was house-brand jam bought from the local supermarket. Also the service was very slow

Yellow Aloe Guesthouse is, in many ways, perfect. It’s location, garden, breakfast to name but a few. We stayed in the Garden Room which has a pleasant bathroom and benefits from a fridge and microwave. However, it has a completely different ambiance to the main house and does not have the country cottage feel that we were expecting from looking at their website. It was not helped by inclement weather which caused us to have to wipe significant amounts of condensation from the door and windows each morning.

This is an excellent guest house! Service was friendly and efficient. Rooms are lovely. Garden is exquisite. Lovely lounge to sit in front of fireplace. Nice to be able to sit in the garden as well. Breakfast also superb!

Whilst Clanwilliam is hot and dry in January, this little guesthouse remains cool within its lush green surroundings. It really is an oasis in the centre of town. The gardens are fabulous and surround the shady breakfast veranda and cool swimming pools. Breakfast was excellent and our room was great even though the bathroom was a bit small and basic. The owners and staff are so welcoming and helpful. We were also delighted to discover just how much there is to explore in the area - the Cedarberg, rock art and even the little museum across the road is a gem.

Overall one of the best guesthouses we have ever stayed. The room was outstanding! So was the bathroom. The service was very good, The breakfast was out of this world. Although this guesthouse is in the center of town, we did not experience any noise vernight.

Hosts were friendly, professional and the breakfast was very tasty. Room was clean and comfortable. The garden area which the rooms overlook is a miniature paradise. My wife has food issues and these were catered for without any problem. The whole atmosphere is serene. Book direct because the online booking companies hit the small B & B's at least 15% commission.
