This Holiday Inn is one of the nicest, cleanest and well maintained hotels we have stayed in. For the money, you can't do better. Reception was efficient. Staff are competent and efficient. Good selection of exercise equipment . We have stayed here several times and are always pleased and comfortable.

Bed and pillows were quite good, but the noise in the halls and adjoining room was really intrusive. The biggest gripe is that the shower didn't work. We left early--6am--and missing the shower was huge. When mentioned at the desk, I was met with a blank stare. I've tried to contact the company, but have found all I get is a chatbox that is AI operated. Since AI doesn't need showers, I didn't find much understanding.

I picked this hotel as one of our pit stops since many reviewers mentioned this is a great location if you're driving through i-80 — and they were right! The hotel is relatively new comparing to other surrounding lodging choices. Our room has nice and clean bed sheets and good water pressure in the shower, which are two of the most important things for me when I'm looking for a short stopover. The reason though I gave this hotel 3 stars instead of a higher rating is because there was a musty smell when we first walked into the room. Not sure if it's the weather or the general circulation of the room but I definitely didn't find the smell enjoyable. Aside from the unpleasant smell, our overall stay was good. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. Mariam (the chef) was very nice and her warm welcoming definitely elevated our experience with the hotel! PS. Mariam also told us about the Autumn Leaf Festival + Car Show that was happening in town. We didn't get a chance to check it out this time but surely will add that to our travel bucket for next road trip :)

Great place for an overnight stay. The location is close to restaurants and shops. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. Checkin was quick and efficient. Good breakfast too. My partner and I are vegan, however, and it would be great if the management could replace one of the breakfast meat and egg dishes with potatoes. Everyone likes potatoes, right? Some plant-based milk also would be welcome. A suggestion for travelers: the floors and thin, and you can hear people walking in the room above. Ask for a room on the top floor!

Came for the night and it was a pleasant experience. It seemed like a newer and well kept property. All the workers were polite and busy working diligently. The breakfast was hot and fresh again staffed with friendly. We will visit again . . .

My family of 4 stayed here 1 night on our way to Chicago. The hotel was clean, the beds were soft, the front desk worker was friendly, the breakfast was good. The room had a coffee bar with coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Overall a very nice, pleasant stay.

Very nice hotel. Stayed in a king suite. Plenty of room. Very clean. Breakfast was well stocked all the way through the closing time. Only “anniyance” would be that the refrigerator in room did make weird noises off and on - not enough to be a complaint. Would definitely stay here again and that says a lot since I don’t like staying at hotels.

Definitely can tell this is a new hotel. Very bright and clean. Room was great. We had two doubles and sitting area. Plenty of space and beds very comfortable. Plenty of towels and I love the shower amenities. Indoor pool and fitness area. Staff super helpful and very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. Love it sits off I80. Found it very quiet and restful.

Stopped at the Holiday Inn Express while on vacation with family in northern Pennsylvania. This hotel is nicely located just off of I-80 exit near Clarion, PA. Usual setting of restaurants, gas stations, and the local hospital, but HIE is back from them and in a quiet setting. Hotel seems newer and well maintained. Room was a nice size with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. Nice breakfast with hot options, baked goods, and a pancake machine. Friendly and helpful staff helped make this a comfortable stay.
