Very good hotel and experience, kind staff. Really a good place to relax and take a journey to seaside. This hotel and seaside helped me to get rid of my pressure from life. I hope I can visit here in the future.

Really clean and recently decorated room! Right on the sea front. I had to go through the back entrance as nobody heard my ringing the front door bell, maybe fix that.

I booked this place twice through two different booking platforms including OYO only to have booking cancelled by the owners the owners without a satisfactory explanation. It’s a totally unacceptable unprofessional hotel to let down customers in such a way

I don’t normally do reviews but on this occasion felt the need to. Having seen some of the previous reviews I nearly wanted to cancel but glad I didn’t. I really enjoyed my stay here, the guy who checked me in was very courteous. The room was lovely and clean, spacious, well laid out, it even had a fridge, the en suite was nice and clean with a shower that worked fine. The bed was at least on par with similar places I have stayed. The couple who I handed the keys in to in the morning were lovely and friendly and asked if everything was okay with the room. I really don’t understand all the negative reviews because I had no issues whatsoever. I have stayed in better hotels but also paid a lot more for them, I have also stayed in many hotels that have been nowhere near as good as this. I have given it 5 stars based on the good value it represented.

A Quality hotel puts the London savoy to shame Beautiful internal fixtures Carpet was like trampoline it was that bouncy We were in the recently refurbished rooms which was sublime no expense spared Egyptian cotton sheets If you want a 5 star hotel this is the place to stay All the best Pinocchio

Booked online and on the phone for a disabled room for 2 people, was told they could accommodate us. When we arrived we were told that our room was on the first floor, upstairs, which was not suitable at all. My partner suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and uses a wheelchair, which I informed them of when the booking was taken. For the next four hours, we were kept dangling on the phone with 'head office' trying to resolve the double booking error they had made, as the in house staff aren't allowed to think or act independently. This finished with us being told 'we will refund your money in 3-5 working days, nothing more we are willing to do, tough luck'. By this time the last train to Doncaster (home) had already left Cleethorpes and we were stranded and £100 down. I would not recommend this hotel company to any disabled customers as their customer service is none exsistant. I can not even raise this issue further as there is no way to contact OYO directly and they refuse to co-operate with 3rd party intermediaries. Now I know why. There is no way to raise a complaint with them at all. Disgraceful discrimination from a bogus company operating outside inclusivity laws, without repercussions. Can anyone help me take it further? Thank heavens for the Premier Inn, who went above and beyond for a mistake they didn't make.

This place is absolutely trash run down untidy and way overbooked Clear signage on the door saying even if you have paid for a room there may not be one available!!! We arrived to find they had no room even though we had paid and confirmed the booking. We were met by very rude staff and owner. Who didn’t really want to help or have us there Never in my life have we seen such a horrible place for the money If you want my advice avoid this hotel it’s an absolute nightmare

Don’t ever ever ever use this hotel with its corrupt management We arrived for armed forces weekend we had 3 rooms for 3 nights When we got there hadi the manager wouldn’t acknowledge any booking we had saying he wanted more money for the rooms an extra £150 each room This was all done over the phone with us standing outside the property as he wouldn’t come to let us in We contacted *********** who are as much use as him totally inept company didn’t want to know We all had to go back home as there was nothing offered as another option accommodation We are still trying to get the money back as no one wants to refund the money I am going to have to contact the police & fraud squad to investigate the matter

I was running an event last Friday 15th July and spent £500 booking 5 rooms at this hotel for myself and some of the DJs I had booked for my event. When I turned up the guy didn't really know what he was doing but this was okay and he let me check in for 4 of the rooms. This was because check in was only until 21:30 and 3 of the rooms were going to people from out of town that was not arriving until 23:00. I regret I did not check all 4 rooms but I assumed this was an honest hotel. Maybe I should have done after reading another review after the Gathering festival last month saying the owners took money out of their security deposit for no reason. In the morning I was awoken at 10:30 with a bang on the door and the owners said I needed to check out now. Then after I packed they were back at my door 20mins later. The owner said he was taking some money out of the £200 deposit I had paid across the 5 rooms. He said we were late checking out at 11am when should be 10:30am. I said I need to stop you right there as your website says 11:30am. Then he said we made noise when we came in. I said that does not warrant taking more money off me. Next he shows me photos of a broken chair and door, to which I demanded to see the room. I was informed by the people in that room the door was already broken, yet we couldn't report this at 3am when they first went in the room as nobody was on reception. I asked the guy where the missing bolt was off the chair. He said it doesn't matter. I said yes it does because I cannot see it in this room, so that means it wasn't broken last night. He only gave me £100 back and refused to give me the other £100 and was looking for an excuse to take as much money off us as possible. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and travel frequently and I have never met anyone in a hotel who is as room a crooked as this guy was. I will be putting on more events here in the future and will not be paying for anyone to stay at this place. I want to warn other people so they do not get ripped off. I am seriously ashamed this has happened in my home town as well! Worst hotel I've ever stayed in!!

Stayed here last year and was great. This year price had gone up as everything else has. The hotel was very dated and tired looking. There was ants in the bed. The fan in the room made a loud horrible noise like it was going to come off the ceiling. No outdoor windows so the room was very warm.

the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed in carpets were filthy, (had to wipe feet on way out) rooms were horrible our bed was about a foot from the floor and mattress was about 3 inches thick and made for a midget no hot water and the owner is an arrogant obnoxious human being, i advise no one to stay here terrible!!!
