Travelodge by Wyndham Low Moor Near Covington

Tv didn’t work in our room. They moved us to new room ac was broken extremely loud and scared us each time it cranked in. Then housekeeping started cleaning rooms at 5:30 am on Sunday. Worst place I’ve ever been.

The windows and screens need a good clean. Yes we do look out at the scenery. We were given a coffee pot and coffee but no creamers or sugar/splenda etc and no stirrers or spoons. Please wash the pillows. They smelled used. Also some guidance for local TV channels or a list of what’s available. There were no tissues. The room claimed to sleep 3 but I can’t imagine were a 3rd would have slept. We paid $120.00 per room for 2 rooms so clearly we weren’t in an “economy” lodging and expected better. The staff was courteous and friendly.

Room needed a little heavier to cover sheet, other than that room was clean and very nice. The diner had good food and very convienant.

Quick stop for the night, nothing fancy but was clean and no issues with noise being next to the highway. Would stay here again.

Perfect place for me to stay at a half way stop to and from Ohio trips which i n make often.

LIKES: 24 hour diner that serves delicious food; friendly and helpful staff; clean room and facilities; microwave and refrigerator. DISLIKES: Outdated rooms; no extras provided like tissue, ice buckets unless you ask for them; room rate seems too high for what you get.

Hotel is great. Right off Interstate 64. Exit has a Truck Stop with a McDonalds and Subway. Next exit 4 miles west has more food and not a bad drive. Diner on same property has office for hotel. Did not try it

Have stayed there several times over the years. Always a great experience until this one. At check in I learned that free breakfast at Penny's Diner had been discontinued. Later after coming back for the night, the A/C was on 70 so I turned it down to 68, then later to 66. Could not feel the room get any cooler. Also, in room 213, the Directv remote did not work. Had to turn on the tv from the set, and could only get channel 10. I reported this at checkout the next morning. Again, very disappointed in the stay due to the breakfast, room temp and tv. Shower was great with plenty of hot water was the only saving grace.
