Stayed here for a couple of nights while in the Coalville area for a show at the nearby theatre. Found staff to be pleasant enough, rooms to be tidy & quiet, clean & comfy, everything working etc. There's an on sight carpark & a nearby Morrison's store about a 5 mins walk away if you need to top up on anything. A couple of local pubs very nearby as well as takeaways and the local theatre too for some entertainment. Bus stops are almost right outside for route's to Leicester, Loughborough, Ashby de la zouch & Swadlincote. On the whole I enjoyed my stay here & would definitely book again if back in the area.

The first thing we noticed as we entered the hotel ,and then our room was how very clean and fresh it was and also light and airy. Our hospitality tray also provided us with tasty biscuits! We were impressed overall. There was a large free car park and our room had a view of two bowling greens. The dining area was in a lovely light filled atrium and there was a bar as well. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly with a special mention of Karen on Reception who couldn’t have been mor helpful ,even providing us with an immaculately clean rubber non slip bath mat when we asked for one. A fan was provided in the room which was also useful. Ok the bathroom was a little small but we managed well and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were actually quite interested as to which make it was as we would like to buy the same type! On our next visit to Coalville we will be very happy to stay at Hermitage Park Hotel again and are pleased to recommend it.

Booked 3 nights via company,rooms ok,a little dated,biggest issue upon arrival was told no restaurant due to lack of staff,would’ve been better if been on website. Room ok,bathroom a little tight but maybe me being a little big. Also Waking up in night due to large spider walking across floor but it was soon dealt with my size 12 foot. Shower was really ok much better than most other premium hotels. Breakfast was really nice,buffet one day,cooked to order others and was very nice. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Only issue was restaurant being closed as didn’t know the area. I would definitely stay again,hopefully soon.

This hotel was perfectly located as we were attending a gig at a nearby bar. Yes, the hotel is dated but it's a great insight into how hotels have evolved over the years. The reception/dining area is open plan with a glass-covered roof which was particularly nice on a sunny day. The hotel was mostly empty on the night that I stayed and, as a single female traveller, I was offered a room on the first floor. But, as friends were staying, the receptionist offered to move me into a room next to them. The room was tucked away on the ground floor and was exceptionally quiet and clean. The shower was powerful and the water hot. Everything you could need was in the room, including an ironing board (hairdryer was in the desk drawer). The bed was comfortable and it was a good night's sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful and nothing seemed like too much trouble. If you're travelling from out of town, staff seem more than happy to advise with directions, local knowledge, and tales of the area. Breakfast was cereal/yoghurt/cooked breakfast and was enough to keep me going through the day. All in all, a great stay and will return!

Ended up staying here after being let down at 11am on the morning of my booking by another hotel. Was checked in by a very friendly lady called Karen who made us feel very welcome. Room was clean and tidy, with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic hotel, good value, great rooms with bath, shower, fan, tea/coffee and biscuits. Nice food, good value & friendly staff 👍 ideal location for local shops, bars and restaurants. Free parking, early check-in and late checkout available. Would definitely stay there again
