Early June is off season and a great time to visit a quiet Revelstoke. The Sutton Place is a few minutes from town at the center of what looks to one day be a mini Whistler. The hotel is elegant and modern. The rooms are IMHO magnificent. We both decided we could live there full time. We had more than we needed or wanted and it is all very well done. We were a little concerned that there was only one restaurant (Rockford) and town required driving. The full kitchen in our room would have been used if we were staying longer or had family with us. The first meal at the Rockford convinced us to eat all meals there. Everything about the Rockford was excellent; ambiance, view, staff, and of course food. At our last meal before leaving I was craving veggies and selected a tuna "bowl". I'm only 77 but it was one of the tastiest and satisfying meals ever.

The service was outstanding! Best I have ever experienced. Super friendly and attentive. They told us of great restaurants, that we would see no moose, but where to find elk. I asked for a roll away bed, and within minutes we had one - at no charge. We were so happy!! Oh, the hotel is super clean.

Super hotel! Surprise, nous avons été surclassé et avons eu une suite 2 chambres! Beaucoup d’espace et de commodités. Nous étions du bord avant de l’hotel. Il y avait la construction vue qu’on était de semaine, mais cela ne nous dérangeait pas! C’était une bonne raison de se réveiller et explorer! Le soir, on mangeait tranquille avec la vue sur les montagnes. Nous avons adoré que tout soit accessibles
