I booked, in good faith, with ********** as I've usually had good results. However, when I pulled up to the Rondo my first words were, "oh no!" I just had a feeling about this place. The office was very messy with pamphlets strewn about, waited a very long time for the clerk, who barely spoke English, and was unable to answer general questions about the room. Entering the room...very dark with only 2 dim lamps in the entire room, the room had an odd odor. The worst part was that the pillows were propped up and looked like someone had been sleeping on them. The sheets were wrinkled and obviously had not been changed (odd given the pandemic we're in). I returned to the office and waited a lllloonng time before he returned. I asked for a refund and he flatly said no. I did leave a comment when H.com asked if I liked my stay. I reported the truth and the owner responded by saying 'the guest was arrogant.' My reply was, "given their response you can tell what type of motel it is. Then, they replied, "an unclean mind is an unclean heart!" Rather funny, if you ask me. The room shown on the website is nothing like what you get. I think the owner must have a different sense of what clean looks like. ********** should do their homework. Save your money and choose a better motel. I ended up going to Travel Lodge...room had good lighting, was clean and the sheets were fresh!
