We had difficulty finding the hotel at first. Street signs are not prevalent in San Juan. Once we contacted the front desk they were very helpful. The suite was comfortable and clean. The pool was warm and the hot tub suitably hot. It was not crowded at night. The onsite restaurant was very good. The staff were very helpful with getting taxis. The only negative was some early morning noise from the construction site next door.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room felt just like our apartment back in New York, which made it extra comfortable. Staff and cleanliness were great. The only thing we noticed was a a lot of humidity in the room and the clothes felt wet most time.

This place was a great find for our 1st time to San Juan/Contado Beach, PR! My wife and I went to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and really wanted a place close to the beach but also close to dining options, shopping, etc. Lots of construction was going on to the building next door (only during week days/business hours). The elevator (only 1 was operable during our stay) was super slow and a little sketchy - not going to lie. There were times I just took the stairs to the 5th floor because the elevator door would just shut but never go anywhere and I did NOT want to get stuck. Also, the beach is a block away (definitely a perk!) and they advertised you get 2 free beach loungers and an umbrella w/ your booked stay at HiBird, but we had to pay for an umbrella our first day because they apparently ran out, which I thought was a bit odd? The room itself was a King Suite and was super spacious and cute. We would have liked to have a balcony, but that was probably our only gripe about the room itself. Would for sure stay again. :)
