Our first issue was with the amenities. The pool was freezing cold. Alongside that, the "hot" tub was also cold- not sure what the issue was with that. The following morning we went to have the continental breakfast which was lacking in options and quality. The pancake maker was broken, which is something we always look forward to when we stay with Holiday Inn. We decided on the second morning to just go out to a restaurant for breakfast as we were very disappointed with the options. Another issue we had was the beach access which is included in the resort fee. We asked the front desk about how to get to the beach access point and were given verbal directions on how to get there and ended up trying to find it for 20-30 minutes after we had to give up and walk all the way back to our hotel to see if we could ask someone else for a better direction. The second worker we asked instructed us to scan a QR code which gave us exact GPS walking directions to the beach access point. Not sure why the first guy did not do that for us, as it could have saved us a good amount of time. When we finally found the beach access we were told we were not allowed to use an umbrella due to the “conditions” as the lady who was telling us this was sitting under an umbrella of her own. That was very irritating mostly because we were told we had free umbrella and chairs to use within the resort fee. The rooms and elevators were significantly smaller than we had expected. We will not be returning.
