A beautiful and historic inn set a lovely backdrop for a pre-Christmas family getaway. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and the food was sensational.

Kamer was prima , het ontbijt ook uitstekend. Maar dineren daar is echt niet aan te raden . Het eten is supersimpel , veel aardappel , weinig vlees , groenten te veel doorgekookt , kortom totaal niet lekker voor de Nederlandse gasten .

Loved the big rooms. Daily cleaning and condiments. Very dog friendly in the rooms and throughout the pub. Excellent breakfasts, good day menus. Amazing outside spaces, their own dog poo bin. Lots of parking and even electric car charging stations. Lovely and helpful staff. Clean and great atmosphere. Will be returning and recommending. Great location and although by the road not too loud. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay. We stayed at the Groes Inn about 15 years ago and it was nice to return. We ate dinner at the pub and had a few drinks. From check-in until check-out the following day the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and sitting in a nice cosy pub with an open fire was just what the doctor ordered.
The bed in the room was huge! However unfortunately the bed was too on the firm side for me for a comfortable nights sleep. But overall a wonderful stay.

Amazing place. Cannot recommend enough. Lovely friendly staff and beautiful room. Everything spotlessly clean. Food was amazing and all freshly prepared. Will definitely be visiting again.
