Room was nice staff were lovely breakfast was a change to have it served fresh to your table only problem was it was pickled with salt black pudding and even the sausages only thing I could eat was the egg we left both our breakfast on the way out we could see a lot of half eaten breakfasts would be a good idea for management to go into the kitchen and see how many breakfast we're not eaten also was a little disappointing to see a printed note in bathroom telling me I will be fined if I take soap and shampoos dispensers out of hotel

It's only ok - Stayed here about 10 years ago and was good - now it's very tired looking. Big rooms but lots of stains on carpets and shower head spraying water onto ceiling. Asked for a quiet room but was put at front of hotel near main road and over carpark at bar - so they either don't care or don't read requests. Was overcharged for breakfast too - so a bad first and last impression :)

We booked a family room for 4, but were given a 3-bed room only. The staff offered a camper bed as a fourth bed, although we paid for 4 proper beds. Moreover, we went to Leisure centre at 7:30 pm, but were declined entry, as they said we should have been there 40 mins before the closing (closing at 8pm). I called the reception, who were unware of this rule, and did not inform us about it at check-in. Also this rule was no where to be found on their website. Lastly, we had paid for an all inclusive breakfast. But when we wanted to have latte and hot-chocolate, we were told to pay for them separately, as only tea and black coffee were included in so called ALL INCLUSIVE breakfast. Avoid them to avoid disappointment during your holidays.

Called here Sunday evening 29th October at approximately 5 o. clock. the service was terrible and the food wasn’t much better. I stood at the counter for roughly five minutes to order a drink and was completely ignored, even by the female management member, who eventually acknowledged my presence and said she would be with me shortly but I eventually had to ask her for service again. When it came to paying the bill, I paid by card, the young lady who took my payment entered the amount on the server and walked away, I wasn’t even offered a receipt. I won’t be in any rush back there .

Very bad personal experience as I seemed targeted by a woman in an orange blouse because she presumed to think I was under the influence as I was tired but I was after travelling a long distance with my friends and she had me removed but when I tried to talk to her she was very rude and abrupt and unbelievably condescending for no particular reason I was shocked that a 4 star hotel could have someone treat a customer like that and you’d expect much more especially after paying so much for a night. All I can hope is this woman can have the proper training in order to deal with customers and staff with manners and dignity which she is clearly lacking. I hope hotel acts on this as it’s not the first time I heard a bad review because of a specific person but to actually deal with this in person is appalling to say the least and I expect much more for a So hotel group

Great customer service all round Stayed in room 316 and our baby daughter was quite sick - they kindly changed the bedding on over 6 occasions over three days. The service was professional but friendly and they were very understanding My elderly parents joined us for one night and had a great time also. Big shout out to a few staff that’s names I remember Clodagh, Sinqobile, luke, Julie and all the great bar team the beer & food was great 😊 Breakfast was great and very plentiful- I was running late one morning and they kindly served me past the cut off point which is greatly appreciated Our elder son Eddie had a great time with the staff and found a new girlfriend - he was very upset leaving x What more can I say keep up the good work We will be back ! X

Recently stayed for 1 night and it was okay. Staff are brilliant but the rooms could do with a bit of refreshing. Particularly the bathroom as the shower door was filthy at the base. I have seen this before and can’t understand why it can’t be cleaned. It could also do with some EV charge points and whilst there is a charge point close by, I don’t want to leave the hotel to go charge the car, wait, and then return. I just want to charge at the hotel and enjoy the evening.

My partner and I came to Charleville for the weekend to celebrate my partners birthday. We were blown away by the hospitality that was shown to us all throughout the weekend. The bar staff are really great too with Emma the manager on duty went over and beyond to look after us. I can’t fault this hotel

Great hotel, staff, facilities and food. Munster suite was very spacious, whenever we needed anything staff were on call and the kids liked the leisure centre. The hotels bar was also great for the rugby and food.
