鄧莫爾之家酒店(Dunmore House Hotel)

10/10 mash potatoes. Felt like pure silk. They didn’t lie when they said it was a creamy mash. My sister would however would prefer a bit more cheese on the gratain but she’s only nitpicking at this point (she may however bring her own cheese next time). Fortunately I personally don’t agree with her. I almost felt there was too much cheese. But then again that’s person preference and cheese doesn’t sit well with me anyway. I’ll update when we get dessert. I heard there is a nice tirmazoo

We had lunch in Dunmore recently and had booked a table in the bar. We asked to move as the seat was in the doorway of footfall from the toilets and the kitchen unfortunately we felt a hindrance with the response we got. We had 2 courses and were disappointed with the main course, it lacked flavour and texture, soft mash, soft veg, soft dauphinois potatoes and soft carrot and parsnip. We found this meal to be expensive in relation to other Sunday lunches in West Cork.

We only had one night here but could easily enjoy several more days. A golfer would enjoy this and it’s close to Kinsale-a lively charming resort seaside town. Plenty of fresh fish available and cute shops. Rooms very clean and fantastic views. Has a bar and restaurant. This is a large hotel that also hosts large venues.

Awesome hotel, right on the coast, smell the sea air. Nice breakfast and evening meal, felt a tiny bit on edge, a bit like the wicker man with locals on the piano and singing away all night but they were super friendly

Let’s start with the positive, the location was superb with wonderful views however the room was very small, taken up completely by the bed.

We've just spent 3 night's in the Dunmore House hotel. Had a fabulous stay in a ground floor seaview room which was also pet friendly. Our 2 westies were welcome everywhere except the kitchen and restaurant. A stunning location and hotel on Clonakilty Bay. Room were immaculate, well equipped, loved the Voya bathroom liquids. The staff are so friendly and helpful from the owner to 3 the delightful French students. Breakfasts were excellent, freshly cooked. Try the homemade granola its amaxing!! We ate in both the bar and restaurant food was great in both. Thanks for making our stay so good. Dolphin and whale watching at breakfast was amazing!

Overall this hotel is second to none. Warm welcome, efficient friendly service. Incredibly relaxing ambience. The food was outstanding. The only problem was that I had to go home. No notions here, just West Cork at it's finest.

Amazing views and newly renovated, but not within walking distance of town. I had a nice walk on the stony beach watching the waves come in. There was a GREAT Irish breakfast included in my rate which was very reasonable in April of 2024. Nice staff including housekeeping and maintenance (I had a small issue with the light in the bathroom which they fixed quickly)

Delightful stay. Hotel was impeccably clean and freshly painted. Great selection for breakfast and food was delicious. Room was beautifully decorated and shower and shower products were fabulous. Staff very accommodating and very friendly.
