科寧市中心希爾頓花園酒店(Hilton Garden Inn Corning Downtown)

We arrived early and was able to promptly check into our room with the help of very pleasant staff. This property is very clean and nicely decorated. However, this Hilton has definitely been the worst Hilton is aspects of comfort. The beds were so terrible- super hard and squeaked like a cheap bed every time you moved… definitely not the normal Hilton experience we are used to from past reservations at different Hilton hotels. Luckily only stayed a night because we barely slept. The pool was also cold for being an indoor pool.

This property was an average property all around. Nothing special or especially remarkable. The one aspect that threw me a bit off is that there are "Human Trafficking is Happening Now" signs in the elevator that state "Human trafficking is happening in our community" along with signs to look out for. I have never seen a sign like this in a hotel and it definitely made me feel unsettled and unsafe as a female traveling alone.

Hotel overlooks the river and downtown Corning BUT our room on the second floor had the view obscured by roof equipment—plus a service person walking past the window. So we felt that we got taken a bit on the price. Just wish this had been clear when I made the reservation, but that may be the fault of this site rather than the hotel. Otherwise the location, staff, cleanliness, etc were good.

Reviews on here are accurate. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I might've taken a swim if I knew the pool was open and where it is. Perhaps I missed the info in the room. Of course, I could've just asked, so most of that is on me. I was tired and feeling kind of lazy. I also like a free breakfast but since the Garden Inn doesn't do that I just bought high calorie stuff the evening before at the nearby Wegman's and warmed that up in the microwave. It was a good excuse to eat chocolate croissants. The young man who checked us in was great. (Fri. evening around 5 p.m. 2/10/23) Very professional and welcoming. Give that guy a raise! The main dining/shopping area is right in the area plus the glass museum is well worth seeing if you never have. Overall, we had a good time. Thanks, Hilton Garden Inn Corning, NY.

The hotel is modern with spacious rooms and it has very nice decor. It’s close to the Corning Glass Museum and within driving distance of Watkins Glen State Park. The restaurant service could not be better.
