Highly recommend Shelly beach top 10. Have just returned from a glorious couple of days there. Such a lovely, idyllic setting, the views over the bay were breathtaking. My room was very well kept and had the absolute best views in the whole park! My room was self contained, but the cooking and lounge facilities looked good too. The staff are lovely and extremely hospitable. I'm already planning my next trip - can't wait to go back!

Great location! We stopped in our camper and were glad we did with the great facility and power site, which helped us have a relaxing break from the travel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It is very kid-friendly with plenty of activities. Next time, we will be back with our kids!

The holiday park is good but all the facilities are slippery when wet. The holiday park should consider putting anti slippery adhesive tapes in kitchen, bathrooms I saw some near misses. The wooden deck in the swimming pool is very slippery, my 4 year old daughter slipped badly and hurt her back badly. I saw many kids slipping when the wooden deck was wet. Kids don't listen when excited to use the slide and end slipping but overall ok experience.

Only stayed one night but wished we stayed longer. Great location with nearby beach and kids playground and many open areas. We stayed in self contained cabin which was very comfortable. The facilities like the heated pool were very enjoyable. Will stay here again if ever in this part of NZ

The staff and owner are amazing, friendly easy to talk to and hard working. The upgrade to ladies shower/toilets are beautiful and clean. Swimming pool is amazing and also, clean. Over all we loved our stay in a well maintained clean holiday park where every amenity was avaliable. Couldn't fault the camp ground.

Really fun place to go. Kids loved the solar heated pool. Beach is tidal but lots of fun to collect cockles when the tides out. Love that you can bring dogs. Overall a great place to stay with lots of accommodation options. Cows are damned noisy though. We stayed in a tent so can’t really comment on the units but they looked good from the outside. Take your paddle boards and kayaks.

We went to Top 10 Shelly beach between 7th - 12th Jan, the weather was amazing, we were lucky enough to get a camp spot we could see the water, and the sunsets. The park provided great facilities to keep the kids entertained. The pool was great and the kids loved the slide and water bucket. Having the coast right there meant swims in the ocean at high tide and exploring the rocks in low tide. 2 minutes around the corner is another great bay to swim in during all tides for the kids. Everyone was super friendly and the staff were very accommodating. defiantly a spot for families to enjoy, looking forward to our next visit.

100% recommend shelly Beach. Very accommodating. Beautiful spot right on the beach front. Clean tidy facilities . Big fire pit area (fit its purpose what we needed it for) Will be bringing my kids here some time soon. They will love the pool and big jump pillow

Great facilities, but pod rocked around in the wind++. No BBQ's permitted around the pod so had to use the communal bbq area away from the pod. Clean and family-friendly. Ladies' shower and toilet area had been recently refurbished to a high standard with the men's area due for a refurbish shortly.
