The carpets in both rooms were filthy. It didn’t seemed they were vacuumed at all before we got there, nor were under the beds checked as we found clothing tags and dental picks under the beds. We were told housekeeping was per request- we requested housekeeping 4 days in a row and never received any service. The manager told us the room was marked as complete by staff, so I’m guessing there are some serious issues with the housekeepers doing their jobs, or we were just completely lied to. We then asked the front desk for towels since we couldn’t get service, and were told we had to bring the dirty towels down to the front desk and exchange them. Breakfast was decent, but the same eggs, sausage, potatoes, and oatmeal everyday. The only variety was if they had the waffle maker out that day or not. I’m waiting to see if I actually receive the Marriott points since I was promised compensation for the inconvenience of not getting housekeeping the entire stay, followed by being told the room rates couldn’t be comped. All in all, you get what you pay for- but I’m shocked Marriott keeps their name on this hotel. Oh- and the elevators sound like there are about to fall apart, and are over a year past the inspection due date, so good luck with that!
