Corum is a small place and there's not much choice for accommodation or restaurants. Hattusili Hotel (or Hattuşirin Otel) must have been grand when it opened : it has a large foyer, elevator, restaurant and good location. But now most of it is faded, run down and sad. I got room #406 : it was lit by 1 harsh, cold tube light (no bedside lights), vinyl floor & furniture. The phone did not connect, I couldn't get the tiny TV to work (wires dangling down), the safe did not work and there was a bad smell. Bathroom was reasonable, with rattling shower cage. All linen was white and clean. Breakfast was in a large room that must have acted as a bar/disco previously, but now no alcohol in sight. There was no milk on the buffet, but they gave me some after I asked.
