Das schöne Hotel liegt direkt am Wasser, wo man ebenfalls prima sitzen und den Blick genießen kann. Nur wenige Fahrminuten zum kleinen Flughafen oder zur Crolly Destillerie. Die sauberen Zimmer sind groß, haben sehr gemütliche Betten und viele einen tollen Blick auf die See. Frühstück war sehr gut, das Abendessen war perfekt! Tolle Auswahl, alles sehr lecker, die Portionen reichlich und der Preis fair. Es gibt eine nette, große Bar und Freitags und Samstags ist zudem Live-Musik. Und es gibt noch mehr gemütliche Ecken zum Sitzen, Chillen, Karten Spielen, etc., ... TOP waren das gesamte Team und das Management. Super freundlich, höflich, kompetent, lustig - gelebte Gastfreundschaft! Das Hotel hat eine eigene Bier-Brauerei (Errigal), Ben, der Bier-Meister, hat extra für unsere Gruppe außerplanmäßig eine Besichtigung vorgenommen. Jede Sorte für sich eine Empfehlung. Wir haben uns nach nur 2 Tagen mehr als heimisch gefühlt und werden definitiv immer wieder hierher kommen. Klare Empfehlung!

Das Hotel liegt nicht nur direkt am Wild Atlantic Way, sondern auch unmittelbar am Meer – wir hatten sogar ein Zimmer mit traumhaftem Meerblick! Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, und auch Bar, Restaurant und Frühstücksraum sind ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig, von hervorragender Qualität und ausgesprochen lecker. Abends kann man im Restaurant ausgezeichnet essen – besonders zu empfehlen ist das Surf-&-Turf-Gericht, ein absolutes Highlight! Der Chef James und das gesamte Team sind äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Marie, die unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!!

Sehr schöne Lage, direkt an der Bucht in Annagry, sehr netter Empfang an der Rezeption. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, die Dusche in Ordnung. Wir hatten einen schönen Blick auf die Bucht direkt vor dem Hotel. Gratisparkplätze vorhanden, Wlan funktioniert wie es soll. Sehr freundliches Personal! Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist eine Empfehlung wert, Austern, gebratene Ente, sehr gute Burger. Im ebenfalls im Hotel befindlichen Pub gibts gutes, lokal gebrautes Bier. Zur Info: Das Hotel hat einen großen Saal für diverse Feierlichkeiten, auch mit DJ- oder Livemusik. Uns hat es nicht gestört, jedoch kann es abends je nach Lage des Zimmers etwas lauter werden.

Lovely stay. Food was great, staff were friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. There was also music in the bar on the two nights we stayed. ⁹Would definitely recommend Caisleáin Óir.

We booked Caislean Oir on a special midweek break that we seen advertised so two nights B&B & one three course dinner for €269 for two people & we really weren't expecting too much but boy were we surprised when we arrived at the hotel. We were greeted by Todd who was extremely polite & very informative & asked us would we like our three course meal on that evening or the following evening so we choose it for the evening of our arrival so he gave us our key & directed us to our double bay view room which was lovely & extremely clean with everything you needed. We had a walk down the village which is really nice with several shops a few bars a pharmacy & a very unique bookshop so all in all a lovely spot. We headed back to the hotel & headed for our meal which was included in the price.....we were simply amazed by the fabulous menu & the selection of food was to die for. The service was absolutely brilliant & the bar was very busy but the staff couldn't do enough for you they were just amazing & the food was definitely delicious & of very high quality. We both had the seafood gratin to start which was served with their homemade brown bread which was superb & I had the scampi now when I say scampi it was just outstanding huge prawns & loads of them served with sides of your choice & my partner had the 10oz filled steak which was €10 extra supplement but it was outstanding we really couldn't fit dessert but we forced ourselves & shared a mouthwatering apple crumble with homemade custard this menu was amazing & the service & food were5star plus & everything was top notch the whole experience was so good we booked in for our second night & the food was again outstanding. The breakfast on both mornings was delicious & cooked fresh & anything you wanted you could have & again the two girls that served us were outstanding & so friendly & polite. We just couldn't fault caislean oir their standards throughout the hotel are definitely 4star plus & every single member of the staff are trained to a very high standard but are also so pleasant so friendly & just go that extra mile for every single customer. We also has an issue with the safe in our room but once we told Todd about it he immediately came to the room & sorted it now that's top class service. When we were checking out we met a lovely lady Michelle on reception who was just the nicest happiest receptionist that we have ever met a truly lovely person. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough & don't let the outside put you off because once you enter the front door there is an amazing experience awaiting you that you will never forget it's 100% high class high quality with amazing staff & that's what we all want when we go for a break away & it's a pity more hotels in Ireland don't take a leaf from this hotel because it's a pure gem & well done to everybody concerned thank you all very much for making our break so special & keep up the amazing work.

The hotel doesn’t look exceptional from the outside but you are in for a real treat if you stay here. We chose it because it was reasonably priced and close to Donegal Airport into which we were flying as part of some student training. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk or 5 to 10 minute taxi ride away from the airport. We chose to walk and the scenery is beautiful, largely following an estuary. The hotel is located at the head of this Inlet with stunning views the rooms are simple but well appointed and very comfortable. Mine, and I think most if not all of them, had a beautiful view over the coast. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. Whilst breakfast formally started at 8 am, the hotel was happy to lay on whatever we wanted at 7:30 am so that we could make our departure. A number of guests were using this early facility and it was very welcome. Everybody was unfailingly polite and helpful and I will definitely return with the family in the future.

Cant believe someone else has written what i wanted to say about the Scampi ! This is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff. The food we had was amazing. It was about three years ago that I was last here and raved about the food. was lucky to get another experience, albeit only for 1 night and was not disappointed. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. We will def be back - well done to all of the staff , all so helpful and welcoming.

Hotel is perfect and the bar downstairs is great too. But the food is why im writing this whilst im still at the hotel. I ordered the Scampi and it was far too good. So good that it has made me deeply angry because I know I'll never have a plate of scampi that good until I come back here. Thanks Caisleain Oir hotel for making me unable to order scampi again anywhere else. Should be a 1 star review for that really, but it was too good.

We were a party of 22 & stayed the weekend & had a great time. The hotel is spotless clean, lovely rooms , beautiful food & great service. The owner of the hotel took the time to show us around the brewery he owns which we all enjoyed & the beer on draught in the hotel is excellent. One of the ladies that works there took the time to take photos of our party as we we’re celebrating my sister in laws 70th birthday & it made the weekend very special along with the rest of the staff who are all great especially Molly who always has a lovely smile & was so attentive. Highly recommend this hotel & we hope to return again

Lovely stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. Clean rooms, helpful staff and nice breakfast each morning. Will be back next year. Great buzz about the hotel yet in no way crowded!
