老房子酒店(Old House Hotel)

There was something about this hotel that made it feel luxurious. It was so clean up so many little upgrades like hand soap in a pump, not a bar. Loved the cozy feeling with the fire place. Loved the soaker tub. And loved the puppy welcome package when we arrived. I have been travelling in BC for a week and this was by far my favourite hotel so far. You won’t regret it if you book.

This is a little gem of a hotel in Courtenay. Rooms are big, quiet, pool is lovely and a great location in the town. Little things like a coffee machine and cookies in the lobby sometimes make all the difference. Full kitchen and closets, bath robes, and lots of pillows. Make this day even better. Love this hotel, have stayed here many times and will come back.

We stayed at this property for three nights, and everything about our stay was wonderful. It's a beautiful property and very well maintained. We had a one-bedroom suite that was equipped with every little item we could think of: umbrella for rain (which we didn't need, thankfully), magnified makeup mirror, even salt and pepper shaker in our kitchen. Our only comment was that the room was a bit on the small side. We loved the endless supply of coffee, etc in the lobbies and the afternoon cookies. Staff was awesome, and we'd highly recommend a stay here.

While the hotel and pools are lovely - our room was located right beside the 17th Street bridge. Very noisy traffic. The front desk staff staff is warm and friendly. Cookies and hot drinks in the lobby were appreciated! I give the hotel a very good rating and the spa is excellent - but suggest asking for a quiet room.

It was a wonderful stay. One downside is that the EV charger is in the underground garage and we couldn't get an internet connection to be able to charge our car. It was an inconvenience we didn't expect. We did find a fast charger down the road but it would have been ideal to have been able to use the charger at the hotel. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

It lived up to its billing. Pool was a bit small but manageable. Room was clean. Place was quiet. It’s pricey but at this time of year(late July) what isn’t. Thanks to the staff who saved ******* on this one. Booked the day off through ******* but the room I booked was sold out. Upon arrival, the staff did some juggling with the few rooms they did have available and set my family up for a nice stay.

The suite was large, well-equipped. Table, chairs, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Spacious, well-designed. Walk-in shower and tub attached. Reception area also offered coffee (automatic espresso), cookies, and fruit. Rooms have adequate plugins (including bedside lamps with electrical and USB plugins) without crawling under the bed and disconnecting the fire alarm system. So nice, so rare. Very friendly and happy staff. Pool, hot tub, not filled with loud splashy parties. Excellent restaurant onsite. Slight downsides: the AC and mini-fridge were both loud enough to have an effect on sleeping (turned both off). Many nice, thoughtful touches.

Very friendly staff that offered a gracious & hospitable check in. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Love the amenity options even though we didn’t have time to use them. Toiletries also were quality.
