The room was very small at the back of the hotel facing a wall. There was only one receptionist who was on the phone dealing with a future booking when we arrived so we had to wait for a considerable amount of time. There was a ceiling fan which was helpful. There was shampoo but no conditioner which was disappointing. No iron in the room either. Not really up to the standard we were expecting - we will not stay there again.

Great hotel - in the most wonderful location, with stunning views directly over the solent. Could not be more accomodating of our 2 dogs... including a small welcome bag of treats for them, labelled with their names. Really very lovely!

Stayed here 40 years ago and so glad to see it again. There has been some changes but the location can’t be beat. Beautiful views! Walking distance to many things. Very helpful staff.

Went down for a wedding, and booked in for 4 nights. One of the best hotels I've stayed in full stop. Very comfortable and clean, fantastic staff, great food. Would highly recommend.

My stay was amazing, the thing that stood out for me was how friendly the staff were, and the cleanliness of the Hotel, I will certainly recommend to my friend’s and the location was fantastic with sea views. Excellent stay.

Very nice staff - homely decor - great views V good service. Good walk into town - managed my 10,000 steps!
