莫泰72號汽車旅館(Motel 72)

We stayed a motel 72 May 2021 in Grayling MI., I know it wasn’t a 4 or 5 star stay but didn’t expect it to be a 1 star! We had a late arrival about 8:00 pm, they walked us to the back, and I mean back, as in not part of a motel it looked like a homeless area with shacks and sheds where people lived! We put our luggage down and left to get a bit to eat. Came back from a late dinner only to find drunk people, that claimed later they live there, outside next to our room, which ok it’s a holiday weekend. Well at 3:00-3:30 am woke to a brawl outside our rooms, to pounding and stuff being thrown around. When my husband went outside to see what the noise was and check on our vehicles was met by two drunk people explaining the situation which they were a part of. Needless to say we could not sleep the rest of the night. Then a few hours we got up and hurried to get out I noticed there was a tick in my bed! I explained to the owner and showed pictures and he didn’t care all! Please do not stay here it’s horrifying!

I chose this hotel because of a previous review stating the beds were comfortable and our bed was very comfortable. We slept fine. The room was homey, comfy, cozy, and clean. The owner gave us rags to clean our motorcycle windshield, a nice perk. We also enjoyed a good breakfast buffet next door at Tinker’s Junction, very convenient.
