Forced to quarantine here (no choice, with an exorbitant payment taken in advance of the trip) they took an unprofessional / bullying approach from the start, rather than taking the time to explain anything. After a long tiring journey, the treatment was like a prisoner, not a customer. Management were worse than useless (interrupting a conversation to say to their temporary staff 'do it better' without explaining how, etc). Reception were ok, once I finally got there; but it's an odd hotel that asks you to specify every, extremely average, meal more than a week in advance. I didn't have a choice. Post Covid, if you do, then I'd say avoid this hotel if at all possible. I've worked across Asia, Africa & South America in some very difficult places, but this is the only hotel I've encountered that I'd never ever revisit. I'd rather be back in Kabul than go back to the Aurora.
