We had a two night stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it too highly. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Just 5 minutes from the hotel is a stunning riverside walk where you are surrounded by bird song. Great breakfast and lovely room. A great place to stay

My friend and I had a range of interesting experiences at the Crianlarich hotel. At the bar, we asked for wine in large glasses with ice and soda, but were told by the bar person we could only have wine in wine glasses and were left feeling strangely chastised - as if we had broken some peculiar protocol. We dined in the restaurant and chose a pasta dish which was substantial but lacking in depth of flavour. The waiting staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was very warm, but thankfully, a fan was supplied. The hospitality tray featured the usual instant coffee/tea selection, with the welcome addition of a bag of popcorn - which I enjoyed! I liked the 1930's vibe of the public areas, but felt that our bedroom - though comfortable - was lacking in character. The breakfast buffet was everything one could require and the menu featured a good range of options; I had eggs royale, it was fine, but I would have preferred my poached eggs to be runny (I know this is a personal preference).

Le Best Western Crianlarich Hotel. Chambre sale, minuscule, lit en 140, douche sans bac à même le sol, digne d’une salle de bain de ferry. Piscine assurée lorsque nous prenions la douche. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre mais l’hôtel était complet ( ?) Nous ignorons la catégorie de l’hôtel, mais un Formule 1 chez nous est au-dessus de celui-ci.

My friend and I were doing the West Highland Way stayed for 1 night. A great room with fantastic amenities. Very clean room. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Full Scottish breakfast with two rounds of toast, fresh orange and tea. The waitress was a credit to the hotel. She was very helpful and attentive.Highly recommend.

After being stranded in Crianlarich by public transport, came to get water and re-book transport. Alison on the front desk was very helpful and even sent an email on my behalf to update my accommodation that night to say I would be late. I also had a light bite to eat which was delicious.
