We had a beautiful experience staying here in the biggest middle unit with wraparound porch, King bed and full living dining room and fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom with huge shower stall. Kelyna, Abigail and the team were helpful and provided excellent communication and service. WiFi works well. The beach is very rustic with some old wood benches. The hotel beach lounge chairs are old but work fine. The unit provides two nice beach towels. Unfortunately, there is no safe to lock up your valuables. Mosquitoes can be an issue. There are also a lot of steps to access the unit. There is a large closet with shelves but not much storage space otherwise. You should definitely shop for groceries and milk prior to arrival. They do provide a few packets of instant coffee and tea bags. Food is available at the next door Cabier ocean lodge hotel. This house rental comes with an infinity pool, but also beach access and restaurant access via the hotel. We booked a very low rate on third party *******: approximately 490 EC dollars per night. (Or $245 Canadian per night) on a weekend mid March 2024. Amazing value for a gorgeous property with Atlantic ocean views on 2 sides! There is a small hill to navigate on a dirt road. We purchased a meal plan for an additional cost since we didn't rent a car. Abigail cooks homestyle healthy Caribbean food – classic, or hot, or vegetarian. We mostly ate fish (mahi mahi and barracuda), vegetables or chicken roti. Great cocktails. The continental breakfast included cheese and sliced cured meats such as salami. Full board [Continental Breakfast, Lunch, and 3-course Dinner] for 133 EC [$50 US] All meals are freshly made using seasonal fresh and quality ingredients. Price per person including VAT and service per day. It's rustic and stunning here. Highly recommended! Can't wait to return.
