The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast had a lot to choose from. The pool was nice and not cold. The deepest part was, I believe, 3' 6". The hot tub was nice but a little on the warm side in my opinion, but I still enjoyed it. There was a kiddie pool and towels folded on a shelf by the large pool. The exercise room had a quality universal machine, a treadmill, and a standing cardio machine. Room 219 had newer calk in the bathroom and it was clean. There are only three observations I made about this room, other than all the positive things, and these are not complaints: The door frame of the bathroom could use a new coat of paint. The security latch arm is missing the bottom of two pins. The refrigerator door sags and has to be lifted to get it to shut. We had a great experience at this hotel.

Paid too much for a very average room. And why can’t a motel room in northern Minnesota have carpeted floors? Pretty cold on bare feet. Power went out in the middle of the night. Breakfast was dismal - waffle machine broken, no fresh fruit and only sweetened cereal unless we wanted biscuits and gravy. We didn’t - we checked out and ate elsewhere.

The overall stay was quiet and staff were professional and friendly. The room was more run down and dirtier than I expected based on previous reviews about recent remodels, etc.

The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Was made to feel very welcome by the wonderful staff there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would book it again.

The access into and out of the hotel is not great and requires backtracking to get back on the main road.

Our room was clean, just smelled pretty musty and could some updates! Pillows were just what my husband and I like (not huge like we normally find).

Had a good check-in and stay. Friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was very disappointing though at 8:30 am.very little left with no refills. Will not return.

Had to visit Brainerd, MN for business trip. This location was quiet, clean, and centrally located. Bed was comfortable. Will stay again
