Our flight was canceled and we needed a convenient hotel. I made reservation 3 hours before we arrived. Upon arrival the host told me they did not have the room I reserved and the only way to get a room was to pay an $18 upgrade. When I questioned why I was asked to pay more than advertised rate he called me aggressive and called the police. As I waited the same thing was told to 2 more guests. The manager blamed ********** for the unavailability of a room. This was clearly a bait and switch gimmick to get more money from guests. He also charged $10 more than advertised for the hotel shuttle. Horrible hotel, horrible staff, horrible experience. The only bright side was the police officer drove us to a new hotel.
