Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria

I GOT MY CAR STOLEN Parked Right Outside The Hotel. We went to our car in the morning to find out it was missing. We go to the front desk to ask if it had been possibly towed (it was parked correctly and right outside the hotel), staff from night shift AND day shift KNEW it had been stolen. Knew what car, and what time it was taken and NEVER called the police. When I confronted her about it employee said "who where we suppose to tell?" Turns out SEVERAL guests from the hotel knew our car had been stolen before we even did, One guest even told me the staff knew when it was going on and didn't bother to do anything about it. I understand parking it on the sreet was "on our own risk" but I do believe if you see a robbery going on YOU CALL THE POLICE. I talked to manager and didn't care at all about it either. VERY VERY bad service, I believe they could have prevented by a simple call to the authorizes.

The address shared by ******* took us to the AC Hotel. We spent an additional 20 minutes circling the area and researching maps to discover that the Residence Inn and A C were combined. We pulled into the parking garage and there were no unlocked doors leading to the Residence Inn. We arrived at 10:30 pm in a city we aren’t familiar with. This was a very unsettling experience. When we finally got inside by pressing a button for Valet, the door unlocked in its own, but no staff was present, we made our way to the Residence Inn and no staff was there. A hotel patron walked past and said it was confusing but you checked in on the other side of the building. When we found one staff member at the AC Hotel she asked which hotel we were staying at. She gave us no parking options and did not tell us we would receive a bill of 25.00 for using the parking garage. I noticed the next morning many cars were parked along the front of the AC front entry, apparently to avoid the parking fee. The lack of personal, signs, instruction, and information about extra fees made it an unenjoyable experience.

Terrible access. To get in no sign to where check in. Enter to garage need key to access hotel and without checkin was not convenient. Charge for parking. No signs that checkin for both hotels are in the same front desk.

Warm and friendly but a bit dirty and uncomfortable. Not sure if I’d stay again. Had a great time but excepted more form Marriot.

The room was amazing, the service was great and parking worked out perfectly for us since they have Tesla charging. Breakfast is provided and is decent (great tea selection). The pool looked very nice, though we stayed in the winter and couldnt use it. I look forward yo staying here again during the summer and using the pool.

The signage on the hotel exterior was completely different than the hotel name we booked our room with. Very confusing. I went to the desk to see if I was in the right place and still there was no signage identifying what hotel I was standing in and no personnel at the desk. Finally, the bar tender at the bar told me I was indeed in the right place and eventually the desk clerk showed up. After that the rest of the stay was seem less until the circuit breaker blew all out lights out at 6:30 am. The desk said they didn’t have an engineer on duty to get us light for another half hour.

Everything was good with the state except for the breakfast which was complementary breakfast we made it downstairs about 930 there was no one inside and no food for all of the money that we have to pay for the room and parking at least there should’ve been someone to accommodate us for breakfast and there were other people around wondering the same thing that was a horrible experience
