Hotel is about 15 min drive from FLL Airport, location is nearby the highway, so don’t expect too much, I paid like US$180 for just one night, I thought is kind of expensive, as hotel is very basic, and they only allowed check in after 3pm, as I disembarked from a cruise ship, got into the hotel early, so unable to get any room available, went shopping at a mall near Miami, came back at 3pm, room still not ready, make to wait another 1 hr, till 4pm then able to obtained the room key, breakfast was nothing great, very basic & dining area look so cheap!

The hotel staff at check-in are very friendly, they inquired with genuine interest as to how we were doing and other pleasantries. The check-in process was painless with no hiccups. Hotel amenities were pointed out. I inquired as to what the staff might like if they were to eat at the very walkable restaurants (maybe 5 minutes at most away) and got excellent suggestions. We returned later with a lighter wallet and comfortably full of great food tummies. To me this is all an excellent value for the dollars spent.

Being used to well defined, well lit reception desks, the check in process was a bit underwhelming with the check in counter looking more like a convenience store checkout counter. The room itself was spacious which I’m assuming is the main reason this place is popular with families. Our stay got off to a bit of a wrong start when, upon entering the room, I noticed some stains from drinks glasses left behind on the table by previous occupants. Advise to the hotel- please make sure all surfaces are clean. It got off to a further wrong start that night with a massive fight breaking out in the adjacent room. With very little insulation between rooms, the expletive ridden rants became unbearable between 1 and 3 am. Tried calling the front desk and no answer. Started to wonder if booking this hotel was a serious mistake. Luckily there was some redemption. The noisy occupants vacated the next morning. Breakfast was good. Receptionists can definitely use some training on how to interact with customers e.g.giving cryptic answers while looking at the computer screen

While the hotel itself is nice, the service fell short. My wife has a bad back and we always request a few extra pillows to give her some needed support. We called the front desk and they said they’d call me right back. Waited 45 minutes then called the front desk again. The guy said he remembered me calling and that IF they had any extra pillows, he’d deliver themself. That was my last communication with anyone from the hotel. A hotel this size shouldn't have to check to see if they have extra pillows. They have them! I don’t believe anyone made any effort to get my wife the pillows she needed.

So we got there on Monday and called for a pick up. The shuttle driver was less than friendly and practically shouted at me over the phone. Check in was good as we were allowed to check in early. The breakfast was ok with simple things like hot water, orange juice running out and not replaced on time. There were no bath soaps in the bathroom but that was rectified with a call to reception.

Great location very clean, but terribly understaffed took us a bit to check in. We didn’t have enough pillows and blankets waited over an hour to get more, none came, went down to the lobby, waited another hour for them to get blankets and pillows. There was only one gentleman at the front desk trying to do it all. He did not have time to give me blankets to the second person came in they were supposed to come in at 11 PM and then get there till 1130. Very frustrating. Also, no chef and no food like they advertised. Breakfast was good this morning, but once again, understaffed not enough hot food to feed all the hungry people. Great location but they definitely need more help.

We just needed the room overnight in order to be close to the airport for our early flight to Denver. The hotel met our needs. Comfortable room and decent breakfast selection. My only complaint was that when we checked in, we should have been asked if we had a car because something was needed to put into the car to evidence that we are guests. It created an inconvenience when we returned to a hotel after dinner and had to go back into the lobby to get what we needed.

Disabled room 203 had the boiler below it constantly going and did not get sleep. Room 521 had a hair dryer that was ready to catch fire and so sticky, was never cleaned! The shuttle was not free as said on their website and the hotel doesn't answer the phone. Took 1 and 1/2 hours to get a new hair dryer!
