Ich war bereits früher im Urban by CityBlue in Dar es Salaam und habe es damals sehr gemocht – besonders wegen des wirklich tollen Frühstücks. Genau das war auch der Grund, weshalb meine Freundin und ich diesmal erneut eine Nacht dort gebucht haben. Dieses Mal war das Frühstück leider enttäuschend. Die Auswahl war deutlich kleiner als früher: keine Cold Cuts, keine der kleinen Häppchen, die sonst immer das Highlight waren, und sogar für einen Cappuccino musste man extra bezahlen. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich aber, dass die Zimmer nach wie vor sehr sauber sind, das Personal freundlich und bemüht ist und die Lage wirklich gut bleibt. Trotzdem war das Frühstück für mich immer ein entscheidender Punkt – und da hat das Hotel diesmal leider nicht an das frühere Niveau anknüpfen können. Sehr schade.

Everything was amazing! From the warm welcome to the service to the staff to the food to the views! An exceptional place for anyone who needs time away in Dar. I highly recommend a visit to their rooftop! The pool, the gym, the restaurant were all such a delight!

I had a fantastic stay at Urban Hotel Dar! The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with a stylish touch that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The overall ambience of the hotel is vibrant and welcoming, truly a refreshing urban escape. One of the highlights for me was the rooftop swimming pool, which offers a stunning aerial view of the Dar es Salaam coastline, especially around the Masaki area.
