Haben dort für eine Nacht übernachtet. Hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit einer tollen Aussicht. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Eine sehr gute Alternative zu den Hotels in Hermanus Wenn man am nächsten tag zu Hai tauchen fährt ist es das perfekte Hotel. Waren bei Rosemary essen was auch sehr zu empfehlen ist

Voor de 2e keer in Sea star lodge. Dit keer het grote 5 sterren appartement. Wat een tegenvaller. Veel lampen die niet vervangen zijn. Verlichting bij de trap, badkamer, bedlampjes etc. Vieze peukenbak naast het koelkastje. Bank die aan vervanging toe is met fleece dekens nog wat opgelapt. Het bubbelbad zeer smerige spuitmondjes. In de badkamer liep her water van de wasbak slecht weg. Na opmerking hebben ze deze schoongemaakt zodat hij weer goed doorliep. Kachel die niet aankon. Na opmerkingen heeft men e.a. vervangen. Men verschuilt zich achter dat de eigenaar geen materiaal koopt voor vervanging. Echter de spuitmondjes zijn daarna wel schoongemaakt. Men vertelde dat spoelmiddel voor het bad niet geleverd was. Bad maar niet gebruikt. Op veel locaties geslapen die veel goedkoper waren maar veel schoner en beter onderhouden zijn. Eigenaar is Duits maar Duitse properheid was ver te zoeken

Hotel idéal pour observer les baleines dans un site calme, un très grand confort et des petits déjeuners très copieux et d’excellente qualité. L’accueil est au niveau de ce bel hotel moderne. Notre chambre disposait d’une très belle vue sur l’ocean. Il y a plusieurs restaurants à 2 km de l’hotel.

We had an extraordinary experience! The staff's professionalism and Carol's exceptional care made our stay truly unforgettable. Carol's expert knowledge and patience ensured we felt welcome and well-informed about the lodge. The breakfast was delicious and healthy, and our room was immaculate. Minor suggestions for improvement: updating the white gowns (although clean, they showed signs of wear) and repairing the coffee machine plug. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely book again."

Host Desiree and staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. Desiree made a excellent suggestion for a restaurant and also went as far to make a reservation for us. Hats of what an excellent choice.

We received excellent, friendly service from staff. The view from the room was mind blowing . Breakfast was very tasty and well presented. Will recommend this to any guest.

My husband and I traveled to the Gansbaai area while on our honeymoon. Our stay was fantastic from the first communication sent by Carol. The room was comfortable but the kindness of the staff is what made the experience stand out. The more we travel, the more we realize the staff are as important as the accommodation itself and this is where Sea Star Lodge excels. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

I cannot fault this place, very friendly staff and beautiful rooms with amazing views. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. I would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed. There are some lovely restaurants a short drive away .

Our weekend stay at Sea Star Lodge was nothing short of a well rested , peaceful weekend getaway . Thank you to our friendly host, Desiree who made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable , clean , and modern. The swimming pool on site , although very small , was perfect to cool off on the a hot day. Breakfast was superb !! Healthy , appetizing and a fairly large choice . the BEST is the view . WOW !!. Sitting on the balcony and able to watch sunset and sunrise across the ocean does wonders for your mood .LOL.Added bonus for us was to watch the dolphins "showing off " in the bay . Walker Bay nature Reserve is a 2min drive away. I recommend doing a tour of the Klipgat caves .

We were recommended Sea Star Lodge by some friends and I am more than happy to pass that recommendation on to the next guests. We enjoyed 3 days under a warm and generous hosting by Nigel and his team. It's a great location, great service, great views, spacy room and a peaceful vacation location.

Nigel, our host, was very friendly, supporting and caring. Also breakfast was great. Rooms ok. Our 3 teenager kids, sharing a room, third bed was only a matress on the floor. in De Kelders is nothing to do, you need the car for everything, also for dinner.

the place was amazing the view just exceptional the hosting kate and her husband and all staff were great really one of the best guest house ever thanks for the great service keep it on the break fast was nice also
