We came to town to visit our daughter and wanted a hotel near her home, which this one offered. The room was spacious and comfortable enough, however the “remodel” job was very sloppy and poorly done. There was no bedding for the sofa sleeper for my son to sleep on. The bathroom floor had toilet tissue bits on it. Every time we left our room, our room keys deactivated, so we’d have to get them rekeyed every time. We took our son to swim in the pool and man, was it gross. There’s a nasty black ring on the tile just above the water line. The water was dark and cloudy, and the smell in the pool room smelled like a swamp, not chlorine like you’d expect. The blow dryer in our room had the prongs broken off the cord, so we had to ask for a new one. The beds were comfortable so that was a plus. The room was ok, but seemed not worth the price we paid. Breakfast was inedible… biscuits were hard as rocks, sausage Pattie’s were rubbery, the gravy was straight water, juice was apple flavored water. It was like the food had been severely over microwaved, or left over and reheated repeatedly. We visit Denton regularly and hoped this hotel would suit our needs, but we will not stay here again. Way to expensive for the quality.

Rented a room for the night because they had a hot tub and pool Payed extra to stay there Wasn’t informed the pool area was closed due to the cold weather until went to pool and saw note on door They should of been upfront about the closure!

Great for travel with dogs. Hotel was very clean, even spelt like cleaning supplies. Pillows were terrible. Too many times in the wash machine, lumpy and uncomfortable. We got to breakfast less than an hour after it started and bacon was gone. I asked if she was going to put out more and got a "no". 10 *****s of bacon for 3 hours of breakfast and a hotel full of people. (I had checked out the breakfast right when it started and grabbed coffee. I should have grabbed a piece of bacon then, I guess. Lol) Not a deal breaker but just thought it was weird.

The water was cold the entire stay. I overheard multiple people tell the front desk during check out and there was no acknowledgement when it was mentioned.

I paid for two nights to bring my 2 dogs, ended up only having them with me 1 night. When asking if I could get a refund, two different employees said the general manager would have to discuss with me. The GM was never there while I stayed and I never received a call as I was told.

Breakfast was put out 45 minutes late, water pressure was non existent, the elevator call button was broken so it’s just a walkie talkie screwed into the wall, fitness center lacks weights. It is fine for a quick overnight stay but is inferior in nearly every way to the holiday inn that it shares a parking lot with, which we stayed in the week before. The only thing that was better was the coffee, which was actually pretty decent

The hotel was easy to find and it was very convenient to shopping and eating establishments. We have stayed at several LaQuinta hotel on this trip and we have been very happy with them.

Firstly, every single staff member was wonderful! They were friendly and professional and so pleasant! We really enjoyed the staff and that was the best part of the trip. Our first room smelled so strongly of cleaning products it was difficult to breathe so we asked to switch rooms and the front desk associate kindly helped us to do that. The breakfast was good, too! They had waffles and sausage and eggs, plus apples and cereal and bagels. The only complaints were the smell in the room, the facility itself seemed old and the parking lot was difficult to get to.

Have stayed at many La Quintas never like this. Booked into a king room and got a handicapped room which they said couldn’t change. When showering in the morning the whole shower head and arm fell off the wall. Staff said nothing they could do but write it down. Expected some sort of compensation and still do.
