This was once an outstanding hotel, judging by initial outward appearances. However, with age, the facility has not received the maintenance and attention to detail customers come to deserve and expect. 1) Door locks frequently malfunction and are finicky to open with the key cards. Ours failed half the time. 2) The wireless network feeding room TVs kept rebooting and updating every 5 minutes! Extremely irritating. Front desk said, yeah, they know about it. During our 2 night stay, they did nothing about it. Couldn't watch anything without constant interruptions and resets. No good. 3) Whirlpool didn't work. Switch on the wall was broken. And had been for some time. 4) Both pool handicapped lift chairs were broken--and clearly had been for some time. Mgmt aware but didn't care. Several exterior doors were unable to be accessed from outside due to broken locks. If you had to park around the side or back of the main entrance, you had a long frosty walk to get in from the front. La Quinta management needs a wake-up call on this property. Pay attention to detail and fix things when you know they're broken. Otherwise, you get the bad rep you deserve and I won't trust another property by this name again the future.
